“Can I put 10 stars?! Hands down one of the best liquor stores in the Chicago area. Every time I’m in Chicago, I make sure to stop by. Sometimes I leave with a sad face but most of the time with a big smile ? Great prices! Affordable! Great specials! I collect tequila bottles and this the place with the rarest, extensive collection of bottles. My biggest issue is when I go, I don’t know which bottle to take home! It’s a little overcrowded, but definitely a place to check out!”

“We went back to Citrine for pre-concert eats on our way to Chicago. This is a Mediterranean-type restaurant. Cocktails are good, food is good. Service is impeccable. Our server this visit was Theo, and he was attentive and friendly. The other staff from the young woman who sat us to the guys who delivered food and cleared the table were attentive and always gave us a smile. My husband and I started out with a glass of wine and a cocktail. We decided once again to share small plates together. We had the New York strip steak tartare. It's absolutely fabulous so we had to have it again. Fresh steak with a raw egg on top that oozes into the steak as you break it, it's perfection. We also got the homemade lepinja bread served warm with a couple spreads. I can't eat nuts or seeds and it came out covered with sesame seeds. No problem, Theo was more than happy to take it back and have bread made just for me without seeds. That's great service. We then shared the roasted beet salad which had arugula, goat cheese, avocado, and orange. It was a very small salad for the price of $14. Having said that, the salad was fresh and I liked the different textures, but it was the size of a small side salad and not worth the price. I would pass on this my next visit. The final dish we shared was the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were large and grilled perfectly, the grits were creamy. This dish was packed with flavor and some heat. Delicious. Citrine accepts reservations and parking is paid street parking. I definitely recommend this restaurant and you must try the steak tartare. So damn delicious!”

“Excellent, literally perfect shrimp tacos like Cali style. Chicken burritos are always great but they’re made differently every time which is a little annoying, I wish they could be more consistent with the ratios. The wait times can be frustrating as well as it can take over 20min to get your order unless you order for takeout. The lines get really packed at peak hours. I’ve seen plenty of people leave bc the line was just unruly. They could make some improvements with efficiency.”

“The place was NOT what you'd expect from the outside. It's a VERY CLEAN, newly decorated bar/pub table area. The food was above average! We had mushroom appetizers and burgers and they were both cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious. But what's not to love about WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO are FRIENDLY AND KIND THAT SERVES YOU. ANN was the bartender/ waitress and she was one of the nicest people we've met in a long time. Fun conversation, feel like I've known her forever!! Everything WAS GREAT and I've been a total "Karen" lately because of so many bad places!! PUB FOOD AT IT'S BEST, a diamond in the rough!! Give it a try!!!”

“I've been going to this liquor store for years. Prices are good and they have a good selection of beer and liquor. They added a small section of craft beers recently which is a big plus for me, since I'm a big fan of Lagunitas Ipa, which they carry. People there are friendly and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. The only reason I dont rate it 5 is because, while they do have a good selection of beers, its not as big as Id like. Other than that, its a great place.”
