“I have been to many vets all around the Chicago area for my dogs and cats, and I trust none of them on the level I trust Mayfair Animal Clinic. The quality of care, affordability, and transparency are a cut above the rest. This isn't a corporate vet, this is a warm, family run business. I have had fantastic experiences with Dr. Paul and Dr. Elizabeth. All the vet techs and receptionist are kind, friendly and willing to answer any questions they can. The veterinary work Dr. Paul specifically has done has visibly and dramatically improved the lives of my pets. I could not recommend a vet more.”
“Excellent service from start to finish. Managers are always in touch. Even after the end of the transaction, they are interested in the fate of the kitten. “I haven’t ever done business with this company but how you behave while branded with a company logo is important. That being said: there’s an intersection by my business that is ALWAYS blocked. Usually blocked over a crosswalk, too. To make the left turn I have to wait for a whole traffic light cycle or two because people rush to a red light only to block said intersection. But why are they rushing to a red light in the first place? Anyone? Anyone? Blocking intersections is illegal factually everywhere so I don’t know why people do it. They look like morons doing it. Not unlike leaving shopping carts out and about in parking lots. Looking at all you Costco shoppers who think it’s okay to hook them to the curbs by the trees. Maybe once a week some smart person doesn’t block said intersection. Today that was a Tank it Easy van. I tried to give the guy a thumbs up but I’m not sure if he saw me. Never heard of you before this, just looked you up and will refer you to anyone who so much as mentions the words fish, tank, shark or similar.”
“An A+ for this store, I was there today and the guy at the cashier when I asked him if he could call someone because I needed help with some medicine for my dog, he immediately called so I could receive assistance, then a guy named Armando came and was super friendly, he took all the time necessary to explain to me about everything I was asking him, excellent worker, thanks to the attitude of these people of course I will gladly return to this store, I wish other stores had staff as cordial as here!!”

“This particular PetSmart out in the western suburbs of Chicago, was HUGE! Though we'll layer out, it took me some time to find the reptile section of the store. I prefer PetSmart because of the large selection of food they carry for my box and water turtles. It's spring here in the Midwest, and my water turtles, a pair of Eastern Painted, are hungry EVERY day! My two box turtles get fed once a week, but that includes lettuce, fresh cut fruit and an entire can of turtle food. The checkout lady was prompt, and I was out the door in minutes. I like being given the option of making a donation to PetSmart charities, right on the credit card pad at checkout. If you're able, may I recommend you make a donation, too!”
