“Called Ben with an issue. He said to come on up and he would get me into shop. Arrived and was inside shop with a mechanic within 2 minutes. Got an honest assessment about issue and problem was fixed. It was an engine piston cooling oil command module that was unplugged while replacing the starter two days prior at another shop. I had not noticed it when I inspected the starter. Throwing codes up to Illinois. They COULD have told me to replace it, charged me 1000 bucks and just plugged old one in. Instead, plugged it in and didn't charge me for that particular issue. Anyway...honest mechanic and good customer service. If you have issues with your truck and you can make it to Carbondale Il....these guys are trustworthy.”

Not only did he load the truck quickly and safely, but he also helped me tie up the drive shaft to prevent further damage. Super professional, on time, and genuinely helpful.

After the hailstorm earlier this year, my car had damage on every single panel on the top and driver’s side — and it had under 5,000 miles on it. It was a real bummer having that much damage on a brand-new car, but they made the entire process so easy. They worked directly with my insurance, kept me updated, and handled everything professionally. When I picked up my car, it looked absolutely brand new — you’d never know it had been through a hailstorm! Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. “I was going to wait to post but they have been so helpful and kind I didn't want to wait. My car was smashed up five hours from home on the way to another state and my Roadside assistance was going to take 48 hours to get a Tow truck to my vehicle. Randy's was the nearest certified repair shop within my insurance network and they were out there with a tow within 30 minutes. I accidentally called before they opened and was kindly directed to call back in about 15 minutes when I could have easily been ignored.
They basically took the stress out of a very new and stressful situation- helped situate my dogs and had a rough answer for me within 15 minutes of arrival and helped push along a rental car faster.
The repairs are extensive and will take some time but I trust by their level of customer service they will be as excellent as their communication has been.”

“We got stranded after JUST entering illinois, we needed new ties but all the tire shops and walmart didnt have it. They had similar tires but they would not put em due to their policy. We called the c&w and they walked us through what we could do.
They had us buy the similar tires and towed us back to the shop to put it on themselves. Everyone was hella cool and super helpful.
Thanks to them we're finally able to get home and not be stranded”

“I can't speak highly enough about everyone Burnham 's I had an issue with my registration back in October and was towed to them, due to unfortunate circumstances it took almost 9 months to rectify. With it being such a long duration, they were gracious enough to work with me to reduce the price significantly. That way I could still have a car once everything was said and done. Without their kindness to a veteran I wouldn't have been able to afford getting my car back. Thanks again for the understanding and reducing the price I can only give 5 stars but the deserve 100!!!”

“I don’t normally post a review of a company but I couldn’t pass this one up without saying something great! I originally was referred to Jacobs Mechanical Service by family members that have said nothing but great things. I brought my car in for one issue and while servicing that issue, they found something another shop had failed to replace. Mickey called and kept me updated with the timing and delivery of the new parts and assured me the car would be good to go when he got done with it. The customer service and pricing is top notch! I’ve got another vehicle getting ready to make the trip to his shop as well! They’ll have as much of my business as they want. I can’t say enough great things! Highly recommend!”
