“For the guy would couldn't get his board that he purchased from some other store - it's a hardware store, not a lumberyard - they carry limited wood products and don't have the tools to do what he was asking. You'll find Depot, Lowes and other big box home improvement stores won't cut materials from other store either. I would recommend that Mike buys a saw while at this popular Ace hardware store and cuts it himself like most people do.”

“Exceptional service. Friendly and kind. Always go above and beyond to help solve any issue. Over the past 5+ years I have always chosen this store over any other. Matt and all the staff are just super. Highly, highly recommend this Ace Hardware.”
155 Peterson Road, Libertyville IL 60048
“The store is so well stocked and neatly arranged, it was a real surprise to me while I was waiting for my knives to be sharpened. I found coffee, machines, vacuum, cleaners, and all kinds of tools, lightbulbs, even shoe insoles. It’s got the amount of merchandise in Menards in a very small space so if you don’t like a lot of walking, go to Ace, the service machines lawnmowers, maybe, fix windows and screen doors and perhaps other services that I’m not aware of if you have to call.”
1972 Raymond Drive, Northbrook IL 60062
“I was happy to experience excellent customer service when a misunderstanding in the specs of a pump led to the needing to quickly get the correct replacement. The replacement pump was shipped quickly and we were able to get up and running again significantly faster and for less cost than our other alternatives. Would use again! (Although I hope we don't need to!).”

“Best hardware store around. I missed the free popcorn since covid. They have everything in a very knowledgeable staff that's very helpful. A little overpriced but I think you're paying for the service”

“I went to this store to buy a replacement cabinet hinge. They didn’t have what I needed but they went out of their way to find a local store that carried the item. They called the store and printed out the exact product I needed. If they were this helpful in finding a product from a local competitor, I can only imagine how helpful they would be if I was their customer. What a great store. It’s hard to find customer service like this anymore.”
253 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg IL 60195
“Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have an awesome selection. Just wish they offered more classes! Everything is full for the next 2 months. They need more wood working 101 classes. There's a real need for it. So many people are looking. And nothing seems available.”

“One night I went into our bedroom and found a chipmunk on our bed. Quickly went to our local Ace and asked for help. The sales associate told me what product I could use (sticky pads) and gave me directions on how to use it, even suggesting using peanut butter as bait. I went home and followed his directions. An hour later Mr. Chipmunk was stuck to the pad and we were able to remove him from our home. Thanks Ace.”

“I went in to get replacement screws for a cheap bed frame from Amazon. I was greeted when I walked in, was offered help, and T was beyond incredible. She was patient, kind, friendly, and helped me find what I needed. The screws she provided me worked perfectly! I also told her she reminded me of a dear friend of mine that was so gentle and that I missed and she gave me a hug.🫶🏼 The cashier at check out was also wonderful! I had a great experience here and am so happy it’s my local Ace!”

“Great home depot. Love the smell of it when I first walk in the store. Last year got me and my mom a above ground planter the we put hurbs in (plant didn't survive though because we lwk suck at gardening noy the point anyway) it was great for that. We also redid some of my backyard near my back door and replaced some of it with Vargo rocks with there lawn cloth at the bottom and hydrangea plants that are thriving. All of this we got from this home depot and they for shure live up to there slogan...this home depot let's the doers get more done. The staff there is also really nice in storeand in the gardening section...one time I needed to find chain oil and i couldn't find it until one pf the many helpful people there helped me find it. Over all 11/10”

“We’ve been using Advanced Turf Solutions for our fertilizer and overseeding products for the past few years and have had an excellent experience. The quality of their turf products has been consistently superior, and the results we’re seeing across the properties we manage have been outstanding. A big part of that experience has been our rep, Craig Shepard. When we first started building out our fertilizer program, Craig took the time to help us put together the right plan for our area and made sure we had the right products and knowledge to execute it properly. His local expertise and support have been incredibly valuable. If you’re looking for a reliable turf supplier with high-quality products and knowledgeable support, we highly recommend Advanced Turf Solutions.”

“We headed to RH Outlet on a Saturday in search of a king sized bed frame. We were greeted and helped by Howard, who was wonderful - polite and helpful. We found a bed we liked for a great price and we used one of the 3rd party delivery recos they provided. The transporit movers were excellent and everything went extremely smoothly! The gallery and selection are huge and this is definitely worth checking out. Just remember you'll have to pay a bit extra for delivery if you don't have a large vehicle. Totally worth it in my opinion!”
100 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich IL 60047
“How do I give this place 6 stars? Very attentive, kind and knowledgeable staff. There has yet to be a single time that I walk into this store and some doesn’t stop me, ask if I need help and point me to exactly what I was looking for. This is what a hardware store shopping experience should be like. Thank you to the amazing staff at Ace. Next time I have to remember to get staff names to add kudos directly to the review.”

“Paul in online sales went above and beyond to expedite my order. While I certainly appreciate the convenience of online sales, it is extremely satisfying to talk to a real compassionate human being like Paul. “We have purchased our hardware needs from Lake Forest Ace Hardware since we moved here years ago. One of our purchases was a large Weber grill. Late last week we had a storm in the area and our beautiful grill was picked up by a micro burst and tossed across the patio. We called the hardware owner Chris and he personally came over and placed everything inside it that was all tossed into a mess back in perfect order and made sure it was working perfectly. WHO DOES THAT !!!……..YOU CAN DEPEND ON THEM !! THANKS CHRIS”
