“Rarely shop there, but because of that I can see that store is getting better(bigger selection/better quality) over time. Good selection of all kinds of tools at reasonable prices.”
“For truck drivers... entrance is the west gate. Pull up to the gate and call the number posted. Pretty easy backing. Unload time is about an hour. Getting to the delivery can have some tight turns but overall not bad.”

“My furnace went out, so after troubleshooting. I realized I needed an inducer motor. I looked up supply houses and called Jenin. They had what I needed and even went a step further to ask for photos so they can confirm the match. Anything you need from them they are on it. Thank you again, my house is finally warming up.”

“Tele-Tron Ace Hardware Is it convenient neighborhood store with plenty of parking. Stop in here for Hardware as well as repair parts for home, office or small appliances. They have everything needed to fix or repair plumbing, electrical or drywall. They have seasonal garden plants and winter shovels as Chicagoland gets all seasons. Teletron Ace Hardware staff are always welcoming and helpful when needed.”
“Needed to replace a smoke detector recently and wanted the same brand/type. Used Ace's website to find which location had the one wanted, and Palos Heights popped up. Stopped by, clean store. Asked Kathleen where the detectors were located; she pointed me to the correct aisle and gave me a heads up they were in locked case and she'd return to assist me in a moment. She did and didn't rush me as I reviewed and verified the one I wanted. Definitely recommend!”
“Here's what I love about Shauer's Hardware: Everything.
From the cast hammer door-pull to the wooden floors, to the back counter where they make keys, it's delightful. They almost always have what I need. The best part is the people who work there. They'll help you find whatever you came in for. They'll help you figure out what you need to get a project done. They're kind and courteous and know their stuff. They've never been patronizing to me (a female DYIer). You don't have to wander around looking for someone to help–THEY find YOU. I always leave there with a smile on my face and my faith in humanity intact. I love this place so much.”
“Excellent service on the lighting department. Number one the array of lighting is so fantastic. Each fixture is work of Art. They have a giant computer screen that you can scroll through to see every and any light fixture on the planet is totally enjoyable. My designer at the store is Katie and she was just perfect for me. Excellent communication, relaxed, friendly made it so easy for me to spend my money at Hortons. I will be back and I highly encourage anybody to come to the store it does say Ace hardware Hortons. The lighting is upstairs and the hardware section is downstairs.”

“Great neighborhood home improvement store for your DIY need or contractors in need of a fast item instead of driving to the other stores. Thank you ACE saved me like 20 min in rush hour driving. Needed Insulation Spray Foam in a can was able to get that with ease and be back home in 10 min. If I choosed to go to the other store it would of been at least a 45min trip”
“I love Ace Hardware, and this one is my favorite. The staff are always super helpful.
I grew up a digital kid, and am pretty out of my element when it comes to fixing stuff around the house. Frankly, going to Lowe's or HD can be a bit intimidating, and its not the people at all, its the questions they ask. I know they're trying to be helpful but honestly the majority of the time, I have no idea how to answer them and I always feel like I'm wasting their time. Fair notice, no one at either store has ever made me feel that way.
Every time I've come to this Ace Hardware, its as if the people helping me know I'm an idiot, hold the questions back, and get me sorted out. For someone like me who is barely functional with a hammer, its a real treat. Also, their pricing is on par with everyone else's, so for me personally, its the way to go!”

“I ordered online and order was ready in less than 30 minutes. I arrived to store same day, was greeted lightly at entry but once I made it to pick up counter in back, it was comically inviting with Ken and another associate who was clocking out. I was able to get in on the joke a little but it was cute. Ken was great and helpful with immediately getting my order and confirming, once done he came out and said he would commute it to my car for me. I had questions about other salts and he was very helpful and friendly. Store is clean. Very quite well organized. Highly recommend”

So much better shopping than in the big box stores, dealing with kids that know nothing, do not want to know anything and obviously do not want to be there, from their negative attitudes. “I use John’s Hardware whenever I need to purchase tools and supplies. I purchased a used bike and the customer service was rather subpar. After I was finally informed that my bike was ready I tested it and realized the wheels were not aligned properly. I will continue purchasing tools and supplies as needed. Anything related to bicycle’s I’m going to find another bike shop.”

“Casey's is the hidden gem I found! They make keys perfect the 1st time. They have those little odds and ends you don't see at Menards or Home Depot and more knowledge than Home Depot! They rent some machines (sewer rodder etc) And I just discovered - they repair Lawnmowers and AC units. They did my lawnmower in a day and a half!! Great customer service too! Dave is a sweetheart!”
