She went beyond the call of duty to make a difference! I phone Freia and informed her that my husband accidentally broke one of our friend's earrings. Our friend stated that she had just purchased them for her birthday and that she didn't think that they would repair them. I told her to let us know how much it would cost to replace, and she declined, saying, "it was an accident, no worries." But I felt in my spirit that they might replace them. I couldn't rest, so I called R&H, and Freia answered, and I explained what happened, and she said to bring them in, and she would take a look at them to see what she could do. Our friend returned the earrings, and they ended up granting her a one-time courtesy replacement since she was a frequent customer. I was so happy to hear that, and I could hear the excitement in her voice as she told me what they did.As a result of that, I stopped by R&H and took Freia a bag of chocolate hearts & a card to let her know how much we appreciate what she did. I told her that people will often write to complaint but we seldom write about the good that people do, and I just wanted her to feel what we felt when we heard what she did for our friend birthday earrings.Freia was so surprised when I gave her the gift! There's something special about a small family run business. They're genuine, honest, and not pushy with pricing. I trust Donna and her family and know that we made the right decision in going with them.We purchased a diamond from them for our engagement.
