As a child, I was truly afraid of Aldi. In the 70's our local Aldi stacked food on pallets, roaches in the aisles and I thoiught there were bugs in every cereal box. They've come a long way, baby.

Good food, decent prices, but when I've compared their prices to other grocery stores in the area, it wasn't much of a savings, sometimes they were even higher on milk or other staples. Very disappointing

The newly remodeled store is just what we needed in Carbondale! The store is clean, organized, and stocked. I can admit before the remodel, I would drive to Marion because the store was the opposite. My thoughts have changed. I find myself there often great friendly workers!
