“Reading the reviews I just want to share a little history. My family moved to Eola in 1963, I was 10 yrs old. I moved back to Eola in 1997 to care for my elderly parents. The post office was a small little bldg on the opposite side of the road about a block up. The current post office was a general store. The kids that lived here and there was about 40 of us in the 60s use to ride our bikes and buy a bottle of pop out of the cooler along with other items. The original lil bldg now sits over on 4th st at one of the residences.”
“My partner and myself went to two other US Post Office locations, Plainfield and Lisle, in which, we were told we were not able to access the passport services as a walk-in. The Warrenville Post Office both actually accepted us as walk-ins and were extremely helpful. The staff was friendly, responsive, personable, and knowledgeable. We waited for a family, who was having trouble completing the application, and the staff at the post office ensured we would get our passport that day. They took us into the passport office, even after the service was suppose to be done/closed for the day. The team handled us with care, accommodated the family before us and ourselves, and had the most amazing staff full of energetic and kind personalities. Truly, the best customer service experience both my partner and myself have ever experienced! I cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are for the individuals working on the day we stopped in. I can’t thank them enough for the hospitality and guidance offered!”

The staffs are organized and helpful. It’s a small place and it gets busy but they do they best they can.”

“Lovely staff always. I accidentally dropped off a package in the 24hr drop box with the wrong label on it. Oh no! I came in when the post office opened to hopefully correct my error. The staff member (I forgot her name) was kind enough to go through all the packages to find mine. There were a lot... I had shipped four separate items, and she got them all for me. I found the one with the wrong label, and was able to put the correct label on it. Then shipped it off! This was totally my mistake. So I greatly appreciate all the help I received. Thank you!”

“I and my spouse moved in this area very recently so we don't know much about what to expect.
This was my 100th time visiting them (psst... remove the two zeros).
I am told to write that they are definitely NOT POSTAL and are very courteous and professional, and they provided good and prompt advice.
I am also told to convey that this place has spacious wirh free parking and a lot of self-serving facilities, even toilets too.
That they are excellent people.

I wrote this under the tutelage of a POSTAL WORKER who, in a very calm voice, demanded me to write this review.

“On the positive side, the workers were helpful when I had questions about international shipping. On the negative side, only two employees were working in the front, and I stood in line for about 10 minutes before receiving help. In comparison to other USPS locations, I would say this staff was more polite and helpful, and the wait time was about average.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Gale on a package of mine that was having issues being shipped from my post office. She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. She was so great to work with, almost would'nt mind if another package was delayed going to her location! haha. Thanks again Gale!”

“My apt has a broken mailbox -picked up my mail from post office asked if todays mail would be in there -he told me yes -got home, it wasn’t. Went back later in day to see if it was there. The supervisor was in the front so the man directed me to her since he didn’t want to check… SHE WAS THE BEST! Went above and beyond she called my mail lady to see if she had mail for me and she did -she took my number and is calling me when she gets there, I am beyond impressed. She could’ve brushed me off but made my day because I really need this piece of mail today va waiting til Monday! Thank you so much”

Since I rarely use the postal service, I usually had questions on how different kinds of mail service work. “Jessica was FABULOUSLY helpful. I was worried about shipping a flute and she was so calm and quick to help me with a smile and patience explaining the different shipping options. If all postal workers were positive/cheerful/ready and helpful like her- so many people would find themselves walking out with a smile each time they went to USPS.? ???? 5 stars, because this is the best service I’ve ever received at any USPS.I don’t remember names easily, so I went back in to see her name tag as she helped someone else in line. I hope her boss knows what an asset she is to their facility- she had a warm welcome for everyone who passed through the door, as the sole front desk employee this Friday afternoon.THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY JESSICA, for helping me get a package ? on its way to NJ. ?? “Today I had a pleasant experience at the Lisle USPS. The counterperson was exceptionally friendly and polite and my issue was resolved. I had stopped going to this, my local post office because the treatment I received from the workers was abominable and threatening. Hopefully this is a new crew, new start.”

“I think the people complaining about their mail are shouting into the wind. There are always complexities with sending letters and packages, and people love to complain. I would just like to say everytime I go to this post office there are a number of kind, helpful, friendly ladies who take care of me. I don't know what else this location is supposed to do. They can't control all the mail from all over the world. Thank you kind ladies of the Carol Stream Post Office.”
