“Every time I’ve taken my Explorer to Ricky and he’s team the work and experience has been top-tier, they have literally saved me hundreds of dollars. I searched around a lot after my rack and pinion went out, perfect touch was by far the best deal. I won’t take my car anywhere else.”

“My brother is in town for university, and unfortunately, being 8 hours away from home, his battery on his 2017 Lexus RX350 gave out on him. From a distance, I did some research and initially found a Toyota dealership nearby, but due to past experiences, I’d rather avoid dealerships for repairs or services. I kept looking and quickly found Specialized Automotive online. After reading through their reviews and learning about their story, I knew right away this was the perfect place for my brother to take his car. I’m a big believer in supporting smaller, family-owned businesses, especially ones that have been around for a while and built a solid reputation. I sent my brother their info and told him to book an appointment for a battery replacement. He took it in this morning, and they had him in and out with a new battery in just 30 minutes! He called me right after to tell me how great his experience was—friendly service, quick turnaround, and no hassle. It’s rare to find an auto shop that’s both efficient and genuinely cares about its customers, and from this experience, I can confidently say that Specialized Automotive is one of those places. We've definitely found a reliable shop for my brother to return to if he ever needs anything else.”

“When I couldn't find the right battery for my key fob at a few different stores, I went to Interstate Battery, where the store clerk quickly located and sold me the correct battery . The date on the battery package indicated that this was a fresh battery, not one that was sitting on the shelf for years. Nice.”

“I dropped my daughter off at school after driving about 1000 miles from Maine to drop her, her stuff, and her car off at college. Being a semi-respectable father, I wanted to give her car service so it would be a decent running order for the semester. We went into Jiffy Lube for an oil change in the tire rotation. They showed me a very filthy filter, which I happily agreed to replace, and then suggested that given the mileage of the car we should do a radiator flush. I hesitated a little bit due to the price, but hey, can you put a price on a decent running car for a daughter 1000 miles away in college? No. So I got the radiator flush ordered. As we sat down and began reading a little bit of a dated material on the coffee table The manager came back in and said that he had taken a look at the radiator and everything was checking out fine so I didn’t need to get it done. I was so thankful for him being upfront with me. I would’ve happily paid it and moved on and never gave it a second thought, but to know that someone took the time to verify if I needed an extra service is a gesture that I was very grateful for. I wouldn’t hesitate one bit to recommend anyone to go to this Jiffy Lube. Thank you, guys!”

“This is the best place to get tires. The owner is super friendly and they get you in and out in no time without an appointment. Unlike Walmart who makes you wait forever. I always get my tires here and I send my family and friends. They always thank me and rave about the service and reasonable prices.”

“Did my motorcycle tire (breaking bead / installing tire) as it was the only shop in town that deals with bike tires plus it was cheap and ready same day so I highly recommend”

“I had a great experience with Average Joe Auto Repair. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and kept me updated every step of the way. Even though he wasn’t able to repair my vehicle because it required equipment his shop didn’t have, he was honest, upfront, and referred me to a shop that could. He went above and beyond to make sure my car got where it needed to be, and I truly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. It’s hard to find honest mechanics who genuinely care about helping people. I highly recommend!”

“My minivan had a series of engine misfires on a cross country road trip, and fortunately it happened next to this repair shop. I called them up and the staff was friendly, suggested I come right in for a tune-up. They were able to get new spark plugs and ignition coils installed, and I was back on the road within 6 hours. Their price was reasonable for the combination of speed and quality I was looking for and my original mechanic for my van had told me the same thing about it also needing a new gasket for this work on this van. I would definitely recommend this shop and appreciate their employees who went beyond to help me get going, even taking a late lunch to finish putting my auto back together faster.”

“On the Go Auto Body did a great job repairing my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. Portions of the rear subframe had rusted out & needed to be replaced. After inspecting the vehicle Chad explained what additional suspension components were worn & needed replacement. As always I appreciate Chad being honest and upfront about cost and taking the time to explain why the additional suspension parts had to be replaced.”

“This shop is amazing!! Brandon saved our 1991 Mazda miata. The clutch had went out completely. I called over 15 different places and none of them would do it. No reason given just a no. I located one shop in Chicago. The car would need to be towed and that costs more than a clutch. Within 2 weeks Brandon had a work order parts and kept me informed thru entire process. The cost really shocked me. It was lower than I expected. This shop knows vehicles. Especially ones that are older models. A lot of places dont do clutch work. They dont have a mechanic with that skill.”
1605 W Springfield Ave, Champaign IL 61821
“I went here based on reviews and they did not disappoint!! Quick. Efficient. To the point. As a woman going to a mechanic I truly didn't feel taken advantage of and it was super refreshing to feel like someone really just wanted to help me get my car running properly again without trying to nickel and dime me. No one was irritated if I asked questions and made sure that I understood what was going on. I left confident that if anything goes wrong again I can just pull up and someone will be happy to help me out! I definitely recommend these guys. Thank you TMS!! I will go back again and again.”

“5 Stars for Myler Automotive Repair! I had a great experience with Myler Automotive Repair. They replaced my timing chain in no time and made sure everything was done right. What really impressed me was their clear communication throughout the process. Paula kept me informed and took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car. On top of that, they caught several issues that the dealership caused when they replaced the engine—things I hadn’t even noticed. Myler was thorough and professional, and they didn’t try to push unnecessary repairs. It’s obvious they’re dedicated to quality work. I highly recommend Myler Automotive Repair to anyone looking for reliable, honest service. I’ll definitely be going back for any future needs.”

“If you’re looking for a miracle, here’s your place. Charlie and the guys really saved my life this summer, by repairing my car. I was quoted 6-10k through my insurance and other repair shops throughout the CU area, many not accepting credit card as a form of payment. Not only do they accept major credit cards with little to know percentage fee, they also charged a little over a third of what I was being quoted prior to. Even with a mishap in pieces and inflation, Charlie stayed true to his quote and diligently worked to seamlessly repair my vehicle. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend these guys, they were extremely personable and professional. & I truly appreciate their services.”

“This place is a vast improvement from the last car wash that was there. The employees here are always friendly and helpful. The wash itself does a pretty good job as well. The price is very reasonable for what you get.”
812 Dennison Dr, Champaign IL 61820
“Great service! The guy up front gave what I’d rate as “dad-level advice” - super honest and easy to trust. He recommended the same tires his wife has which made me feel a whole lot better about the decision I was making. The mechanic even figured out a weird rattling noise I couldn’t pinpoint. Definitely my (now) go-to car place for tires, oil changes, and other maintenance. Highly recommend!”
