Country View Veterinary Clinic
2619 W Springfield Ave, ChampaignAfter moving to the area a few years back, I went to many different vets before coming to countryview from a friend’s recommendation. My cat, dog, and I have been nothing short of impressed with the care and knowledge of the staff in the time we’ve been clients here. Our anxious cat has never been more at ease, and our dog’s allergies have been taken care of so well! I’m forever recommending this office to anyone who needs a veterinarian. Thank you to the staff at countryview for making vet visits calm, informative, and enjoyable for all of us, especially with reasonable pricing!

Pet Sitting & Training

The Dog Den
31 E Kenyon Rd, ChampaignI regularly take my dog to the Dog Den for daycare and then use their boarding services for trips away. The staff is always friendly, booking is easy, and I feel like my pup is always excited when I drop him off. I’m thrilled to have somewhere I can leave my dog and not worry about his safety or care. They do a great job!

Jodie Vee's
2703 Clark Rd, ChampaignWe have 2 very rambunctious 19 month old chocolate labs and got them into a loose leash training class with Jodie. She has been very patient with us, and has even stayed after to help us with leash and collar choices, also to give more tips and options. Max and Ruby have greatly improved, and as owners, we've learned so much. They have a long way to go with training (as do we!), but could not be happier with Jodie's techniques and obvious love for dogs. We highly recommend Jodie Vee's. Thank you!

Tasty Tart
405 S Neil St Suite C, ChampaignIf I could rate the tart and the coffee separately, I would give the tart 3 stars and the coffee 5. The coffee was incredibly rich, strong, and delicious. The tart is very crust heavy. The crust tastes like one that doesn't get baked, so it doesn't have that caramelization you're hoping for. The custard in the center was so light and airy it was hard to taste. I got the strawberry cheesecake one. If the crust were half as thick or perhaps baked or sweetened more, these would be 4 or 5 stars.

Tenkyu
301 N Neil St Ste 104, ChampaignWent to dinner tonight with the besties and the staff here are so genuinely kind! They were busy with seemingly only three employees but kept coming around to ensure we had a good experience. I recommend the mule for a drink, and the spring rolls and shrimp sushi for appetizers. I had the chicken katsu curry don and it was delicious. 10/10 service!!!

Mad Goat Coffee
57 E Main St, ChampaignMad Goat Coffee is a really nice spot! There are plenty of tables, which makes it great for studying, working, or catching up with friends. The drinks are a bit on the higher side price-wise, but the quality definitely matches — everything I tried was excellent. The only thing that felt a little off was the lack of music; it was surprisingly quiet inside. A little background music would make the atmosphere even better, but overall, it’s a great coffee shop worth visiting!

Hamilton Walker's
201 N Neil St, ChampaignWe visited for the first time last night. What an absolutely delightful experience! I didn't want to leave. Allison explained our drink choices to us (Lemon Drop & Amaretto Sour, both delicious) and then took her time helping us order. We got the 14oz filet for two meal and everything was so good. Allison also talked me into trying an espresso martini (loved it). She was so kind, patient and helpful. The ambiance is perfection. Truly an experience and not just a dinner out.

Sun Singer Restaurant, Wine & Spirits
1115 W Windsor Rd, ChampaignWe have been coming here to 5 years . Anytime we are in town visiting one of our college kids we always make a reservation for dinner.\nThe food and service is always excellent. I love the seasonal Dutch apple cocktail. We had yummy calamari and the cauliflower for appetizers. I had the shrimp wrap which was good.\nThe bread pudding is always great as well as the mini mousse cups. \nOn a personal note, we always call for reservation but for some reason forgot to this time. We showed up thinking we had one and they were so kind and accommodating and were able to get us a table anyways. This is just the best place ever!!\nAlso the liquor store is very good too. Very unique finds there and plenty of help and expertise when needed.\nDefinitely a hidden gem!!

1901 W Springer Dr, ChampaignBeyond kind and caring. They treated my daughter and I with gentleness and patience as we said our final goodbyes to our FatMan. For those concerned with cost, they were very reasonably priced and have a multitude of options from urns to memory items like the inked paw prints and necklaces we opted for. Very satisfied and beyond thankful for Julie and Paws & Remember.

Prairieland Anti-Cruelty Spay
2173 County Rd 750 E, ChampaignWe adopted Max our lab/golden retriever mix fromPraireland when he was 12 weeks old. Judy and her staff were very knowledgeable with their background in veterinary. I even called her several times with questions. When Max was old enough we took him back to Praireland to be neutered. The staff took excellent care of him. At the time we adopted him my kids were 3,10 and 14. He was a wonderful sweet family dog. Sadly enough we lost Max several months ago to Lymphoma, he was 12 years old. I am so grateful to Praireland for rescuing him and bringing him to us . We would definitely adopt from them again. Thanks Praireland!!!
