I felt bad for her having to help an old man like me, you'd think some of the other garden employees would help but they were too busy standing around talking instead of working! “I had to visit twice in one day. What stood out to me though was the first time i visited some workers were cold but one young lady who was quite petit still tried to help me with a heavy A/C despite other customers demanding her attention. Unfortunately I had to return it because the operating panel was destroyed. I knew what i was getting with an opened box which I was fine with because of the discount. “I needed to buy more tile for my bathroom (to match what I bought 4-5 years ago at Home Depot), but it was discontinued. I talked to Ed Hester, Design Consultant at Home Depot on Elston Avenue in Chicago, IL on March 16, 2023, and he called Daltile in Elk Grove, Illinois. (I had given him the tile manufacturer as well as the SKU number). As Ed patiently tracked it down online, he simultaneously talked to an associate at Daltile. And he found my discontinued tile!! I ordered it today and will pick it up on Monday. Kudos to Ed Hester, Home Depot employee extraordinaire!!”
