“As soon as you walk into Beautiful Rugs, you can tell you're getting a first-class experience with incredible quality pieces. Moe is so unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable and takes his time to find exactly what you're looking for. The only problem is he will give you so many stunning options to choose from that it's so hard to make a decision which one you'll go with! Our decision got so difficult we ended up getting two absolutely stunning Persian rugs!
But it doesn't stop at the quality-- not only did Moe hand deliver our rugs once purchased, but when we had a question about one of the rugs after delivery, he came by in person the next day and talked us through our question.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Moe and his beautiful store. I'll never hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who needs a rug or rug cleaning!”
“Working with Joe at Rose Estate Jewelers was like working with family! I was treated wonderfully. I sold several gold pieces and received fair prices. I would go back to them again to purchase and to sell.”
“Store owner was great! I picked up an antique spoon and silver fork— not without getting a sticker of course. 1 thing to note with credit card must spend at least 10$Thanks Andy!”
“The nicest and most helpful sports card people!!! Best sports card selection in the city.
They helped me last minute with soccer cards for my 8 year old son. So friendly and I cannot recommend these awesome people enough!!! I would give them 100 stats if I could.”
“Fun selection of furniture and accessories-changes constantly. I found 2 great chairs at a great price! Friendly, helpful owners. Delivery available for large pieces. I used the convenient loading area just outside.”
“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

“I love this store and wish I could live here!!! Every nook and cranny has a piece tucked away ready for you to find. Pieces are not cheap, but also not too expensive. Lots of items ranging from vintage and antique but also new consumer goods that still fit the vibe. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“The employee was very kind and right away asked what I was looking for and showed me around. This place is very organized and clean and has a wide range of decor and furniture! Truly special pieces that have been curated - not a junk/ thrift store”

“i love this little shop so much. we come here often and there's always really cool and nice pieces here. the prices are so fair! we purchased a few items over the year here. a decanter, a table lamp, a large wooden decorative ladder. we plan on spending more money here. the folks working are always friendly and approachable.”
“NOT your usual antiques shop! The selection and finds one can buy are always truly astonishing: Just browsing is an exciting adventure, imagining the objects’ past lives, and being amazed at the inventions and whatnot of yesteryear. The owners are super helpful and always a delight to chat with. The place is so well-kept and clean, and has lots of welcome sunlight to make the mood so cheery here.”
“Very lovely store. Lots of unique pieces. Very expensive and far out of my budget but nice to peruse. This is more of a collectors warehouse for those with a good amount of money to drop. If I could afford it I’d buy something for sure.”

“Absolutely recommend 100%. I was tasked by my grandma to have a doll restrung. I was about to ship it to another company for much much more $$$. I didn’t know so I assumed that’s what it costs. I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”

“We used Zap props for our wedding reception. Our theme was “Time Travel” and we wanted the kitchen to look like a 1950s diner. Zap props helped us out. They were easy to work with and affordable. We had to pick up our own props but when we arrived they helped us load the larger items and unload them when we got back. Overall it was seem less. I would highly recommend the for any event prop rentals.”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing. The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”
“This place brings me warm fuzzy feelings just by walking inside. When you walk in you are bombarded with color, stimulation, and maximalism. Get ready to have fun.
Foursided is a great place to get gifts, candles, local artwork, small plant pots, baby books, cards, and more. The people working were talking about House of Dragons while I was shopping and they gave me the vibes that they wouldn't be upset if I jumped into the conversation!
Once you make your purchase they take off the price tags in case you are gifting the items which saves me a little time in the long run. They have tons of cards to choose from, making this a prime spot to go to get someone a gift. An extra bonus is a lot of the merchandise is from local artists and Chicago-themed.”

“Antique Resources is a true gem of a destination for European antiques of the highest quality. Visiting their vast showroom, one is immediately impressed by not only the friendly, courteous and knowledgeable Staff, but also the vast selection of carefully selected, superb items of exceptional beauty and historical value. The pricing is both fair and reasonable, particularly because of the quality and rarity of the items. If one has a love for the best and the beautiful, a visit is an absolute necessity.”

“Wow. I walked in and was just wowed by everything in the space. Doug was one of the nicest business owners I've ever met. A great combo of smart and creative, just what you want in design. Go here and check it out!!!!”
“Walking past this shop we KNEW we had to walk in. Starting with the cozy feel of the shop with plants, neat posters, and the cutest puppy felt super welcoming. The friendly front desk staff is super helpful with anything you may be looking for (Vinyls, CDs, VHS, you name it!). We spent a good bit of time here and left with a bunch of reasonably priced vintage goodies. 10/10 will be back! ?✨?(The listening station in the middle of the shop was super fun as well, helped us explore some records we otherwise would’ve never known of)”

“This is the best thrift shop I have ever been to in my life! Like stepping into a magical fairyland it goes on forever and ever. Don't miss the basement but watch your head! They have vintage everything: clothes, furniture, home goods. Also an enormous supply of Halloween and cos-play costumes, A definite must visit for any thrift lover!”
“Can’t recommend this place enough! Impossible to find a place with high quality furniture and home decor at reasonable prices these days. The owner, Nancy, is so friendly and sweet!”
“This store fills me with joy! So much beautiful art and during fall spooky figurines and decor, beautiful notebooks, earrings… so much to see! I highly recommend!”
“In my top 5 favorite stores. Excellent selection from all eras, heavy on the Midcentury modern which is right up my alley.
I’m a big fan of everything here, especially the Saturn lamp!!!! So pretty and cool.
We bought a couple of things.”
“Great shop, inventory changes weekly so check back often. Check out @vintagequest on IG for great pics of new items. Keith is the proprietor, neighborhood gadfly and a great person to work with. Tell Keith Chi-Hammer ? sent ya.”
“Dark and mysterious! Slammed to the gills with inventory! When you go Inside you might feel like you’re overwhelmed due to the mass of Inventory available!!!! STOP…. Take a deep breath and focus in one spot lol! There ya go…. NOPE!!!! STOP IT!!! Don’t look around!!! Stay focused lol!!! I personally made like 20 laps around this amazing store! The staff wasn’t shy for small talk! I just love this store! GO NOW!!”
“Just left after my first visit and the owner was so friendly and carried my finds out to my car for me! Got some eclectic old and new stuff for very good prices — so glad to have discovered this gem!”
“This is one of the most wonderful places I've ever been Ben waited on us and treated us completely Fair I will always go back there when I want to have an item checked out”
“This place blew my mind! It is a combination of museum and bookstore. A must for any history buff, antiquarian bibliophile, or collector of Lincoln, Civil War, or Americana memorabilia. The people who work there really know their stuff and are great to talk to. You will learn so much. There is no storefront, so you have to call when you get there. However, you will get a personal experience with people who are passionate and knowledgeable about this era in American history.”
“We stumbled upon this place walking by and fell in love with it! The prices are high but if you have the money to splurge they had so many unique pieces. While I didn’t buy anything it opened my eyes to some new artists to follow in the Chicago art scene.”
“A very cozy nice store. Grabbed some supplies with my boyfriend and a book. Saw this place online when I was planning my trip and decided to stop in. Lots of great perfumes and oils as well as supplies for whatever Craft you practice. Also loved the sign on the door (the ICE keep out sign) as well as the Santa Muerte in the window.”
