“As soon as you walk into Beautiful Rugs, you can tell you're getting a first-class experience with incredible quality pieces. Moe is so unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable and takes his time to find exactly what you're looking for. The only problem is he will give you so many stunning options to choose from that it's so hard to make a decision which one you'll go with! Our decision got so difficult we ended up getting two absolutely stunning Persian rugs!
But it doesn't stop at the quality-- not only did Moe hand deliver our rugs once purchased, but when we had a question about one of the rugs after delivery, he came by in person the next day and talked us through our question.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Moe and his beautiful store. I'll never hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who needs a rug or rug cleaning!”
“Working with Joe at Rose Estate Jewelers was like working with family! I was treated wonderfully. I sold several gold pieces and received fair prices. I would go back to them again to purchase and to sell.”
“I happened upon this treasure of a place while walking today . It's everything an antique should be: interesting and unusual merchandise, reasonable prices. an affable owner and Sophie , his charming dog .”
“The nicest and most helpful sports card people!!! Best sports card selection in the city.
They helped me last minute with soccer cards for my 8 year old son. So friendly and I cannot recommend these awesome people enough!!! I would give them 100 stats if I could.”
“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

“Such a charming little shop! Mercantile M has such a unique mix of gifts, home goods, and beautifully curated items — it’s one of those places where you walk in “just to look” and always end up finding something special. Everything feels thoughtfully selected, from candles and cards to handmade goods and stylish home accents.
The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They’re always happy to help you find the perfect gift or offer suggestions without ever being pushy. It has that cozy, local feel that makes you want to keep coming back.”

“Beautifully curated boutique that mixes unique decor with vintage + antique. Every time I've gone staff is so sweet and welcoming. They have a mix of vintage inspired pieces, local artist products, and *very* old items. The way it's decorated is also amazing. Perfect place to get a gift for your favorite host.”

“The employee was very kind and right away asked what I was looking for and showed me around. This place is very organized and clean and has a wide range of decor and furniture! Truly special pieces that have been curated - not a junk/ thrift store”
“NOT your usual antiques shop! The selection and finds one can buy are always truly astonishing: Just browsing is an exciting adventure, imagining the objects’ past lives, and being amazed at the inventions and whatnot of yesteryear. The owners are super helpful and always a delight to chat with. The place is so well-kept and clean, and has lots of welcome sunlight to make the mood so cheery here.”
“I am over the moon happy with my new Grundig counsel. I had been admiring Harlequin Vintage through socials for a while and I reached out explaining what I was looking for. Dave responded he just so happened to have the exact piece I was looking for! The sound is amazing. I had used his white-glove delivery service and was extremely impressed! Reliving the sound of music I listened to growing up and remembering my parents dancing....priceless. Thank you, Dave!!!”
“a must visit!
they have an amazing selection of records, an interesting selection of literature (i had to buy a book, cool stuff) and a cute puppy at the entrance :)
they played records while I was there, creating a fun atmosphere as I browsed through their selections. I’ll definitely be back.”

“We used Zap props for our wedding reception. Our theme was “Time Travel” and we wanted the kitchen to look like a 1950s diner. Zap props helped us out. They were easy to work with and affordable. We had to pick up our own props but when we arrived they helped us load the larger items and unload them when we got back. Overall it was seem less. I would highly recommend the for any event prop rentals.”

“Absolutely recommend 100%. I was tasked by my grandma to have a doll restrung. I was about to ship it to another company for much much more $$$. I didn’t know so I assumed that’s what it costs. I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”
“Very lovely store. Lots of unique pieces. Very expensive and far out of my budget but nice to peruse. This is more of a collectors warehouse for those with a good amount of money to drop. If I could afford it I’d buy something for sure.”
“They have stunning pieces and they prioritize accessible pricing. The owner Jon is also super knowledgeable. I love supporting people who stand by their principles and these guys are the real deal!”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing. The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”
“This place brings me warm fuzzy feelings just by walking inside. When you walk in you are bombarded with color, stimulation, and maximalism. Get ready to have fun.
Foursided is a great place to get gifts, candles, local artwork, small plant pots, baby books, cards, and more. The people working were talking about House of Dragons while I was shopping and they gave me the vibes that they wouldn't be upset if I jumped into the conversation!
Once you make your purchase they take off the price tags in case you are gifting the items which saves me a little time in the long run. They have tons of cards to choose from, making this a prime spot to go to get someone a gift. An extra bonus is a lot of the merchandise is from local artists and Chicago-themed.”
“Antique Resources is a true gem of a destination for European antiques of the highest quality. Visiting their vast showroom, one is immediately impressed by not only the friendly, courteous and knowledgeable Staff, but also the vast selection of carefully selected, superb items of exceptional beauty and historical value. The pricing is both fair and reasonable, particularly because of the quality and rarity of the items. If one has a love for the best and the beautiful, a visit is an absolute necessity.”

“Dark and mysterious! Slammed to the gills with inventory! When you go Inside you might feel like you’re overwhelmed due to the mass of Inventory available!!!! STOP…. Take a deep breath and focus in one spot lol! There ya go…. NOPE!!!! STOP IT!!! Don’t look around!!! Stay focused lol!!! I personally made like 20 laps around this amazing store! The staff wasn’t shy for small talk! I just love this store! GO NOW!!”
“We stumbled upon this place walking by and fell in love with it! The prices are high but if you have the money to splurge they had so many unique pieces. While I didn’t buy anything it opened my eyes to some new artists to follow in the Chicago art scene.”
“This place blew my mind! It is a combination of museum and bookstore. A must for any history buff, antiquarian bibliophile, or collector of Lincoln, Civil War, or Americana memorabilia. The people who work there really know their stuff and are great to talk to. You will learn so much. There is no storefront, so you have to call when you get there. However, you will get a personal experience with people who are passionate and knowledgeable about this era in American history.”
“A very cozy nice store. Grabbed some supplies with my boyfriend and a book. Saw this place online when I was planning my trip and decided to stop in. Lots of great perfumes and oils as well as supplies for whatever Craft you practice. Also loved the sign on the door (the ICE keep out sign) as well as the Santa Muerte in the window.”
