Beatnix is a Chicago local landmark in the heart of Boystown, a very good neighborhood store. It is a great local retail store where you can find inexpensive merchandise at rather reasonable and super affordable prices. The inventory is always changing and they carry a wide assortment of products, from glamorous jewelry, vintage clothing, costumes, and stage make-up to pride accessories, shoes of all sizes, and more. There is a great selection and an awesome vintage closet area downstairs, with lots of different things to see. The customer service is fantastic, welcoming, kind, funny, and amazing, with lots of fun banter and good energy. It is a place with no animosity and no judgement, serving a rainbow of customers. Many feel this business benefits the community. Great window displays too.

My favorite favorite shop to stop at when I’m in boys town, they have the cutest things. Something for everyone! Amvar and David were wonderful and helped me find what I was looking for , definitely check them out if you’re in town !!
