About The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a thrift store where donated goods are sold to fund Adult Rehabilitation Centers. The store is noted for being clean, with employees described as kind, helpful, and attentive. Shoppers report making amazing finds, with a stock and selection compared to a top tier store. The inventory includes basketball shorts, sweatpants, unique t-shirts, sports jerseys, a great selection of dirt cheap books, decorations, plates, dishes, and silverware. Items are cleaned with a professional garment steamer, leaving fabrics smelling clean. Pricing is viewed as very fair by some, though others note high prices. The place is small, and customers are advised to be careful for theft, especially on sale days. Donations are accepted at a truck in the adjacent parking lot; items should be in usable condition. While some negative reviews are acknowledged, many customers state they can usually find good stuff there.
