About South Side Help Center Inc
For more than 35 years, South Side Help Center (SSHC) has provided critical services to help negate both violence prevention and the incidence and impact of HIV/AIDS in the African-American community. Initially founded in 1987, our 501 c (3) non-profit organization focused on educating the African-American religious community so it could become more sensitive to the needs of people impacted by HIV/AIDS. Since that time, SSHC’s services have evolved to include HIV/AIDS outreach and direct care services and a comprehensive range of youth-centered and capacity building programs to enable other non-profit organizations to better serve our communities.

I was able to meet with the staff here at the South Side Help Center and they have tremendously helped me with my entreprenuerial journey. Knowledgeable and caring, amazing to have such a resource on the south side.
