“I've been going here for about 40 years, on my regular rotation of hardware stores of which there only 2.I really appreciate that there's always someone to assist with some crazy me project.It is terrific to go and buy 3 screws or a single wedge to fix a nuts thing that needs fixin.Smells exactly how a hardware store should with a bunch of people that know their s$$t.Fix windows, screens and pretty sure they offer a pick-up/repair service for small equipment....plan ahead.I always treat myself to a Danish or Coffee Cake from Kirschbaums (next door) if I'm early enough.”

“I highly recommend Carousel Flowers ! I called their shop this morning and explained that I was looking to send a fresh flower arrangement today, one that was big, bright, beautiful and had a "put a smile on their face" appeal for a good friend of mine who needed some cheering-up. After sharing the details, a short time later I received a confirming e-mail with the order, how the card would read, etc., (very professional). They got the order out today. This evening I got a text from my friend on how beautiful and uplifting the arrangement was (I even got a photo with the text - showing the wonderful arrangement on their dining room table, it was AWESOME ! ). When I say it was "all I had hoped it would be" I'm serious 100%. Again, I highly recommend Carousel Flowers and a BIG "thank you" to their staff for an excellent transaction !”

“Great service and selection of many landscaping products and supplies. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist with accurate supply needs and realistic prices for the outdoor space. Since purchasing a pickup truck I will never shop elsewhere and deal with "bagged" mulch, dirt or rocks. I can only imagine how much more it would have cost me for the equivalent of 3 yards of mulch. “I visited this location on 22DEC22. The 5 stars for this review are relagated to the associate Nieve. I came into the store stressed and confused looking for an extension cord that likely doesn't exist. I requested for Nieve to help me find it, and they helped me as best they were able. They walk with me to were they sold cords with negative results. They then walked to a computer and put in the specifications for my extension cord, but they didn't sell anything like the one I was looking for. They even attempted to see if they had the snowblower in stock I needed to see if they could better figure out what kind of cord I needed. However, we weren't able to find any pictures to help figure out what cord I needed. Nieve thought it strange by the way I was describing it. However, they were respectful dealing with my later realized error and educated me in a non-condescending way and informed me why the item I was mistakenly looking for likely was wrong. Nieve went over and beyond and deserves recognition for their work ethic, kindness, and knowledgeability. They even gave me the right cord I needed before I left!”

“Purchase two phalaenopsis online, listed as ‘in bud/stalk’. Came in safely, with gorgeous foliage. One had a prominent flower stalk with a second forming, and the other had two stalks. Shortly after, it formed a THIRD stalk!Seriously impressive plants, for a great price! I wish Hausermann stocked every variety of orchid I hope to own, I would never use another nursery.”

“I noticed the greenhouse as I was driving and pulled in thinking to see what they had for Christmas trees, they didn't have what I wanted but had a wide selection outdoors, with plants and knick knacks and a wide variety indoors, everyone was friendly and helpful, they have a little Cafe in there as well, I didn't have time to stay but will go back and check it out.”
“Dwayne and team do an absolutely amazing job. From picking out the perfect plants, to guiding us through the garden and giving us sketches of what our yard could look like, they do it all. We had absolutely no landscaping, a blank slate with no ideas and Dwayne brought our yard to life. Even coming back to check on everything multiple times after the project was complete. We couldn't have found a better guy or company. Our yard is amazing!”

“I went to Home Depot, and I was surprised at how much lumber they had. Now I am a bit of a wood enthusiast, and I could not believe the awesome and all powerful almighty selection they had at store, and when I went up to the employee and asked him how much the wood was for sale he told me it was free because I loved wood so much so I opened up all my orifices for all the wood. Enter.”

I usually always need help when I come here and the employees always go above and beyond to ask if I need help before I can get to them first. They are very knowledgeable and assist me with whatever I need. We rented a Penske truck today and we were extremely happy with our experience. I will definitely be renting from Home Depot moving forward. We were very pleased with the customer service and walk through they did before releasing the truck. It was much better than competitor brands that we have used in the past.”
“I needed to buy more tile for my bathroom (to match what I bought 4-5 years ago at Home Depot), but it was discontinued. I talked to Ed Hester, Design Consultant at Home Depot on Elston Avenue in Chicago, IL on March 16, 2023, and he called Daltile in Elk Grove, Illinois. (I had given him the tile manufacturer as well as the SKU number). As Ed patiently tracked it down online, he simultaneously talked to an associate at Daltile. And he found my discontinued tile!! I ordered it today and will pick it up on Monday. Kudos to Ed Hester, Home Depot employee extraordinaire!!”

“Very helpful staff. Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”
