“I purchased tires from Goodyear. After a disappointing experience at the Huntley location—where the customer service was severely lacking—I was relieved when Goodyear stepped in and redirected my tire installation to Auto Tech Centers in Crystal Lake.
From the moment the switch was made, the experience turned around. Bob, the manager, reached out right away to set up a new appointment. Although I missed his initial call, I called back and was impressed to find that his team was already fully briefed on the situation and ready to help. It was clear communication and professionalism were priorities here.
On the day of installation, I was helped by Adam, who was absolutely fantastic—professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Unlike the Huntley location, which incorrectly told me I needed a wheel lock key (prompting an unnecessary purchase from Honda), Adam actually went out to my car himself to check and confirmed that my vehicle didn’t require one. That level of care and honesty is rare and deeply appreciated.

“We had an issue with our car. It was not holding idle and hesitated on acceleration. Sometimes it would just die out. We brought the car late in the afternoon. They checked the car and diagnosed the problem. They fixed the car the same day. The car has been running great since then. Our son takes his car there. “Bruce (owner) Gary (lead mechanic) are awesome any problem I have ever had with my truck they have been able to diagnose and fix it a reasonable amount of time, if it can not be fixed right away they say if it is ok to keep driving or if it should not be driven until fixed. I drive a 2015 T370 Kenworth and they are a good truck. I would highly recommend them for and truck or large vehicle that need's repair. Great on repair cost and amount of time it takes to get repairs made.”

“HONEST, REASONABLE, TRUSTWORTHY are the things you want when it comes to a mechanic. I've been coming to Prime Tek Automotive for the past year and they have been nothing but great. Reasonably priced and transparent with all the work that has been done with my cars. Not to mention everything is warrantied. I consider myself somewhat of a gear head so I know when someone is trying to take advantage of me but I've never experienced this at all with Prime Tek Automotive. They good good honest work. Give them shot and if worse come to worse at least get quoted by them. You won't regret it.”
