“I ordered a custom red velvet cake, and it was amazing! The sponge was soft, moist, and super fresh. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Overall, it felt like something much fancier than what I paid for. I’ll definitely order again”
“Good Tarder Joe's they have all the stuff but sometimes I feel there are too many staff and the floor and the store is almost always crowded enough that it makes it hard to navigate with the cart. Staff are friendly and I love the rotating items as well as many of the classics. Would not go here if you're looking for fresh, not packaged, meat/seafood products. Very hard to park around here and many pedestrians so be careful.”

“The store is great. The employees are great. What makes this store problematic is the parking lot and the pushy self-entitled shoppers/drivers. Customers have a "look-out-for-me" attitude. The parking lot has people honking at each other, driving the wrong way down a lane, and shopping in much the same manner. It is unnerving. However staff is kind, personable, and helpful. I probably wouldn't shop here again. I'd go to Park Ridge or Evanston. The people that shop here make it a challenge.”
“I went there to buy meat for the first time and I found it is a nice store and they have everything that Arax has! They have a small grill area and we got beef kabab and I think it was better than many restaurants around the area. The meat section and restaurant employees were friendly even the cashier was good too even better than Arax cashier! I think I will go there for shopping again!”

“We are visiting Chicago's Northern suburbs, and discovered our favorite grocery chain, TRADER JOE'S. This TJ's is stocked with the same house brands we find in Southern California. The employees are kind and knowledgeable. You know, they listen when you ask a question, then take you to that item. Checking out is quick, easy, and the bagger will move it to your car. Incidentally, TJ,s reusable bags have a long life.
And yes, the prices are good too.
There's an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables, packaged meats, cheese, unique spices, vegan and gluten free foods.
But the real joy of Trader Joe's is their selection of unique snacks, entrees, and desserts. However, there is a catch. TJ's branded products are constantly changing. If you see it and like it - buy it. It may not be there tomorrow.
Everything's ADA compatible. Plenty of free parking.”
“I love their Jewish salad and the eggplant that is already made in the little containers. The only thing that upsets me... The salads only last up to 2 days then it starts smelling sour.... weird.”

“I love getting the fresh bakery sweet rolls (the blueberry filled or the apple ones, all are delicious) and paczki! Specifically come to this location every year for fat Thursday as the paczki are to die for. They are fluffy and melt in your mouth amazing! This year also did not disappoint, highly recommend ?”

“Unfortunately, I figured out that cream cheese recall is going on in all Aldi, in all states. I was buying cream cheese from Aldi on a regular basis. Also someone suggested not to buy eggs from Aldi. Not good quality. Sad”
“Woodman's is awesome. While it seems like every grocery chain is in decline and price gouging, Woodman's is not that. It is a co-op so employees are invested. They have an amazing array of everything. This store and the other stories that I've been to are huge! The pricing is fair. I have actively priced things at Mariano's and compared them to what I found it Woodman's and Mariano's is generally 20% higher.
When you shop here not only are you getting a good deal and a great selection, but you are supporting a good chain of employee invested stores.”

“Very good Korean grocery store. It's always freezing inside, though, so bring a sweater or something. The parking lot is a little hard to get out of during the busy hours, as well. But the grocery store itself gets the job done.”
“A simple experience but a great one. I stopped into another grocery store and grabbed egg salad from the deli counter. The list of ingredients was long and one of the first ingredients in the dressing for the egg salad was "high fructose corn syrup". Why is there sugar added to egg salad? Therefore, I dropped the offending egg salad in a cooler and left that store. I knew I would be passing Sunset Foods on my way to my destination and stopped in, went to the deli and grabbed egg salad. It was simple and clean with just 4 ingredients... Eggs, Hellmann's mayonnaise, sea salt and pepper. That's what I expect in egg salad! That's why Sunset Foods is a good grocery store.”

“Thank you for making my husband’s 90th birthday celebration so special. All the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Everyone commented on the variety of the sanwiches and how good they tasted. The Gourmet Crudite w/spinach dip and Pinwheel Platters were wonderful.”

Every week we discover a new favorite, and the store is very clean and well-organized. I also remember that they actively support local food pantries. Well worth shopping here!”
“In October we celebrated our daughters wedding and ordered chatka and sweets table from the Prospect Heights location. Everything was delicious with a beautiful presentation. The sweets table was a huge hit; it was gone so fast as guests eagerly filled their plates. Mrs. Dorota was incredibly helpful thinking through every detail, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them. Looking forward to their service again!

“Jiminy crickets!! (Okay, okay, stop over- reacting Joseph ?). But yeah, I'm only being honest with ya... I've got some complaints today! No more Mr. Nice Guy! The inventory is antiquated and sparse to say the least. They haven't got themselves a shipment in about 35 years!!!! I got some matza over Passover and boy oh boy I think I ate some dust ?.
Funny story from this location: I was in here with my family (wife, son, daughter, the whole kit and kaboodle ?) and we were starving after having a 14 hour road trip (the wife does NOT let us have fast food! Hah! Rather go hungry than consume seed oils amiright?!?) so we strolled in to grab some lunch. My young daughter was so hungry that she grabbed a pack of ramen noodles off the shelf and just started munching! Straight up rawdogging it! (Don't worry, we bought it after ?) but I gotta tell ya... weird experiences happen at this location ?. The door coming in and out is kind of awkward, makes my special needs son confused! He starts crying every single time! Hah! (That's his fault, not the store ?)
But I will say, the staff is kind and helpful. Almost makes up for the lack of groceries at this grocery store! ROTFL....LMFAO! Nothin new, buckaroo! Take a hike, pal!

“Mizkan Americas, Inc. produces the renowned Holland House cooking wine as I LOVE their white and Marsala red cooking wines. Their cooking wines bring flavor and great taste from boring to wow of my former love's cooking when we entertained guests in a past life. Holland House occassionally offers manufacturer's coupon in Sunday's newspapers. Their products are sold in supermarkets and local groceries stores.”

“This is one of the larger Whole Foods in the area. I have been shopping here pretty much every week for years. They have a great selection of organic produce, meats and seafood. Large cheese section with many types of cheese. Decent alcohol selection. Also good bakery and prepared food items. I do miss the freshly roasted coffee they offered before the "pandemic" though. I also like the Prime deals and take advantage of those .”
