“I ordered a custom red velvet cake, and it was amazing! The sponge was soft, moist, and super fresh. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Overall, it felt like something much fancier than what I paid for. I’ll definitely order again”
“The customer service at Trader Joe's is impeccable. There are plenty of employees to assist. There are a seemingly endless selection of delicious cuisine! My only complaint would be the layout of the strip mall and the parking lot. That's what I get for a Saturday though.”
“Trader Joe’s is a great place to shop if you want unique and affordable food options. They have a lot of their own branded items that you can’t find anywhere else, especially snacks and frozen meals that are easy and actually taste good. The store is usually clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and it’s a good spot to find healthier or more interesting options compared to regular grocery stores. Overall, Trader Joe’s is a solid choice for everyday groceries with a fun variety.”
“Most Trader Joe's have horrible parking, not this one. It's in a strip mall. Our main goal was to pick up lilac totes and we both got 2. It's a very nice space and plenty of staff to help out. I look forward to my next visit.”
“MARK was a great help and I received unbelievable customer service. He is a great representation for front of house for your business and I recommend you utilize his skills to the fullest! Never lose him!”
“I prefer this Trader Joe’s over the other North Shore locations.
It’s clean, well-stocked, and efficiently run. You’ve got the usual Trader Joe’s vibe, a little crunchy, a little chaotic, but this one feels manageable. Like Whole Foods with a sense of humor.
The staff is friendly and actually tries to talk to you at checkout. Sometimes it’s a solid, normal human interaction. Sometimes it feels like we’re both being held hostage by corporate cheerfulness. Either way, I respect the effort.
Selection is good, most things are in stock if you time it right, and it doesn’t feel like you’re accidentally attending a sustainability seminar while buying frozen orange chicken.
Overall, strong location. In, out, groceries secured. No spiritual awakening required.”
“Thank you very much Gastineau Key Business Service! Your company really proved me that you have the most trustworthy locksmiths who know their job very well. Everyone is very professional and amazing to work with!”
“excellent produce and friendly & accommodating butcher & deli teams. lots of excellent private-label items. wide variety of wines & beers. Lots of very good things packed into a manageable space.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review
Deli 4 You in Prospect Heights is a fantastic spot for authentic Polish food and deli specialties. The selection is amazing, from freshly prepared hot dishes and soups to delicious pierogi, sausages, salads, and baked goods.
Everything always tastes fresh and homemade, and the variety is impressive. It is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch, pick up traditional Polish products, or stock up on comfort food.
The staff is friendly, the store is well organized, and every visit feels like a little trip to a European deli. Highly recommend if you love Polish flavors and great quality food!”
“I always turn to this store when my 'local'er one doesn't stock an item. It doesn't have the self checkout stalls so sometimes there is a wait to finish up your shopping trip.”
“I grew up in Highland Park and lived in Northbrook at one point and many other places in Chicagoland area. There is nothing like Sunset foods and there is nothing like their deli and their meat department. The only issue I sometimes have with their Deli is while they often have many of the same standard items available. Sometimes they don’t have popular items for several days or weeks at the time and there’s no schedule as to when they might have favorite items. Their “sunset turkey” is top-notch; much better than boars head, which I also like and other brands.
Their soups are delicious homemade from scratch. The lentil is my favorite.
Several items can be more expensive than others local grocery mainstays, but the service is great and they are very convenient with the best downtown locations on the North Shore.
I remember growing up their moto was “Services our business “. Their attention to quality and service sure does put them ahead of the competition.”
“Just stopped by to pick up the fixings for home made nachos and this Aldi's didn't disappoint. Everything I needed was in stock (this time) and the staff was super friendly. The employees at this store almost always go the extra mile. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that they can go quite a while without have certain items...not this trip, but in past visits.”
“Lots of old posts … unfortunately no bakery section. Got removed - wish Aldi would change its mind and bring the bakery back. Bread was better than the ones they sell now”
“I went there to buy meat for the first time and I found it is a nice store and they have everything that Arax has! They have a small grill area and we got beef kabab and I think it was better than many restaurants around the area. The meat section and restaurant employees were friendly even the cashier was good too even better than Arax cashier! I think I will go there for shopping again!”
“Very high quality products and meat at a very reasonable cost. We found the meat to be higher quality than Whole Foods and half the price. Super friendly staff and deli staff. Great source for halal/zabiha meats including deli meats.”
“Huge store, never seen so many different kinds of cheese in a grocery.
Found all the ingredients to make hummus with pita bread, and to make dad's Roadkill recipe”
“Neat little grocery store! Lots of good Croat/German/Misc items. LOTS of sausage and smoked meats (lots of Stiegelmeier products). Also has a nice selection of German personal care products, European beers, and some central European wines. Grocery items include some VERY nice breads, jams, pickled bits and my favorite, spaetzle!Nice folks, nice, clean store...super weird location. That having been said, it's very much worth the trip!”
“George's store is a store like all stores, it has everything one wants, but it also has things like sweets, home work, or the owner of the store does it, and the most important thing is that they get the same important taste from everything that is clean, and the prices I made are compared to you, the store has lower prices, and dealing with customers is what makes one come back to buy. Hopefully, good luck, Lord”
“I love their Jewish salad and the eggplant that is already made in the little containers. The only thing that upsets me... The salads only last up to 2 days then it starts smelling sour.... weird.”
“Heinen's is nostalgic and brings back great memories because I was born in the Cleveland, ohio area and lived there till I was 10. There was a Heinen's in the Cleveland suburb (Rocky River) I lived in! (Heinen's of course is based in Northeast Ohio)”

“We are so impressed with the quality of every item we've bought here, including meats, produce, breads, and heat and serve meals. Every week we discover a new favorite, and the store is very clean and well-organized. I also remember that they actively support local food pantries. Well worth shopping here!”
“Very good Korean grocery store. It's always freezing inside, though, so bring a sweater or something. The parking lot is a little hard to get out of during the busy hours, as well. But the grocery store itself gets the job done.”
“This was at least my second visit to the Niles GFS in the last month or so, both times for a specific product that has been very difficult to find at other stores that once sold it. Our closest GFS store in Evanston sadly closed a few years ago, so the Niles store is the next closest, although a little bit of a drive. While successful in finding and purchasing this product my previous visit, I was sadly met with an empty container as the product had been sold out. I asked the cashier Cookie whether or not they expected more anytime soon. She referred me to store manager (?) Zoey who searched her computer to look it up and asked how many I wanted. She said it looked like they received a case and would go to the back and check. A few minutes later Zoey appeared holding a case in her arms and proceeded to open it again asking how many I wanted. I asked how many were in the case (I wasn't going to take the WHOLE case, I was definitely going to leave some for other customers like me who may have driven to the Niles GFS store specifically looking for this product), so I decided on just how many I originally wanted, plus a couple extra to save me from making another special trip before the holidays. Zoey explained they were likely out of stock from the recent holiday which totally made sense. I was extremely grateful for the kindness and wonderful customer service shown by both Cookie and Zoey throughout my entire interaction with them. I've always loved shopping at GFS when we had a location much closer, but will DEFINITELY be returning to this Niles GFS store location when I'm in the area, or when I run out again! Thanks so much Zoey and Cookie for making my wife so happy!!
?????”
“Going to Heinen's is very nostalgic and great! They're based in northeast Ohio, and I was born in the Cleveland area and lived there till I was 10 years old! There was a Heinen's in the Cleveland suburb I lived! (Rocky River)”
“Got a 2good2go series of grab bags from them. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. So impressed leaving a nice review on Google and want to express how beautiful the store was! Lovely food! Thank you!”
“Thank you for making my husband’s 90th birthday celebration so special. All the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Everyone commented on the variety of the sanwiches and how good they tasted. The Gourmet Crudite w/spinach dip and Pinwheel Platters were wonderful.”
“Good location, good prices. Most of the gas stations I passed at the time were running around $3.30 to $3.39 and this station was $3.08 nothing much else to tell.”
“Jiminy crickets!! (Okay, okay, stop over- reacting Joseph ?). But yeah, I'm only being honest with ya... I've got some complaints today! No more Mr. Nice Guy! The inventory is antiquated and sparse to say the least. They haven't got themselves a shipment in about 35 years!!!! I got some matza over Passover and boy oh boy I think I ate some dust ?.
Funny story from this location: I was in here with my family (wife, son, daughter, the whole kit and kaboodle ?) and we were starving after having a 14 hour road trip (the wife does NOT let us have fast food! Hah! Rather go hungry than consume seed oils amiright?!?) so we strolled in to grab some lunch. My young daughter was so hungry that she grabbed a pack of ramen noodles off the shelf and just started munching! Straight up rawdogging it! (Don't worry, we bought it after ?) but I gotta tell ya... weird experiences happen at this location ?. The door coming in and out is kind of awkward, makes my special needs son confused! He starts crying every single time! Hah! (That's his fault, not the store ?)
But I will say, the staff is kind and helpful. Almost makes up for the lack of groceries at this grocery store! ROTFL....LMFAO! Nothin new, buckaroo! Take a hike, pal!
Just a positive guy with a complaint here 'n there,
--Joseph ?”
“One on the best international mostly European food market in the area. Supportive personnel. Friendly environment. Interesting membership program with intriguing discounts.”
“This is one of the larger Whole Foods in the area. I have been shopping here pretty much every week for years. They have a great selection of organic produce, meats and seafood. Large cheese section with many types of cheese. Decent alcohol selection. Also good bakery and prepared food items. I do miss the freshly roasted coffee they offered before the "pandemic" though. I also like the Prime deals and take advantage of those .”
