“My nephew Enzo is visiting from California to spend his 14th Birthday in Chicago. We attended the Lego Convention then we went to Woodfield to search for a specific set but couldn’t find it there. The wonderful Manager at Woodfield called the Northbrook location and we were able to order the set my Nephew Enzo was looking for. We arrived at the Lego Store in Northbrook and felt very Welcomed by the staff:Mery, Elizabeth and Cameron made my nephew’s day. “This is the second time I’ve ordered from this store & both experiences exceeded expectations! The first time, I was looking for a specific product. It was shown on their website, but currently out of stock (in the middle of the supply chain issues). I called to check when/if it would be back in stock and their communication was stellar! They let me know that it had been ordered and kept me apprised of subsequent delays.The second time I ordered (today), I was given the option of free local delivery as one of the shipping methods. “I refer to this place as Snickerdoodles bc it always gets a fun reaction from my kids. Overall, big selection of toys and nice curation. I really like that they wrap toys for gifts. It's worth any full price or mark up to me to have it wrapped. At times the sales folks have made me a tinge uncomfortable. Kind of comes off as overbearing and I get some stares. I still drive an hour to Naperville to another locally owned toy shop whenever possible bc I tend to feel more welcomed there. Here, there is a bit of a weird vibe. Still, nice to have as a local option.”

“Sad that all the game stops are slowly disappearing. We stop by here to trade in games, shop for things we don't need, and pick up new games (like Zelda tears of the kingdom and Diablo 4). We also found out recently that they do "happy returns" so I was able to do multiple things during my stop. Even though Diablo 4 and Zelda were popular games, they still had it in stock. Service is always good and the workers are genuinely always trying to help. The only problem we faced is when there's a shortage of workers and slow processes due to technology constraints. For example, lines get long if some customers want to trade in a lot of games.”

“My family and I went to buy some loose Pokemon cards that my sons were interested in. The cards that they wanted were very random and consisted of Pokemon using all different energies as well as Trainers. The owner Jester was there and he was extremely helpful, helping us find over 30 of the cards that they were looking through by going through binders and loose cards in a box, which was extremely tedious. We've been to many Gamers Worlds where the employees running the store seem like they couldn't care less about their customers. We were fortunate to have the exact opposite experience here and want to thank Jester so much for his kindness and patience!”

They have a huge selection of sh figuarts and figma and then some other really cool statutes (non posable). “Love the premise. In practice, not as effective as I would like.Mighty Nest purports to send you one item a month to help you change over to something more environmentally conscious. Unfortunately, in reality, the items they have are mostly junk that clutters your counters, cabinets, drawers, or what have you. Anything more useful ends up not available for your "surprise" item. You can choose the item you can receive, but those choices are vary limited, repetitive, and anything good ends up with an added premium price, usually exorbitant.What makes it worth 4 stars is the added available items that you can shop for. For example, I can get Mrs. Murphy's products that are hard to get and more expensive elsewhere, like limited, seasonal scents in bar soaps and dishwashing liquids, at good prices for far longer that at other sites. Might Nest does offer a few products I haven't seen elsewhere. they also allow you to add your preferred products as a subscription at no additional postage to your monthly package.One more benefit: you can change your shipping date at any time. Just remember to do this if you need to or if you don't care for the items on your list of choices.So, if you choose to sign up, just be aware of the caveats and check in regularly.”

I was willing to wait for the next opening but thankfully Stacy offered to cut my 3 year old’s hair. She took her time and gave me so many helpful tips on how to maintain my daughter’s very curly hair. I already see a massive difference in her hair from following her advice, my daughters hair is so much healthier and easier to style. We will definitely be coming back here, thank you Stacy!”
