“This is seriously the best place to get steel toed boots. My husband has used them for years. The last pair he bought were hurting his feet bad even though they were his normal brand/size/style. After a month of trying to figure it out he went inside and they traded his boots for a different pair that was the same size/style/brand. The strange pain went away.
I have also walked in a few times to pick up his repairs. Yes, they do repairs! They never made me wait more than 5 minutes.”

“A couple of weeks ago, I had an excellent experience at the Skechers store on 95th & Western in Evergreen Park.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted promptly with genuine courtesy. On a visit the day before, I spoke with two team members, Gerard and Chris about a potential return. Both were respectful, professional, and incredibly helpful. What stood out most was that they treated every customer in the store with that same level of care and attention. Even though I couldn’t complete my return that day, they reassured me it would be handled quickly when I came back.
When I returned, I explained that the shoes I purchased weren’t suitable due to ongoing foot concerns. Manager Mo stepped in and handled everything with patience, professionalism, and kindness. I mentioned I was in a bit of a rush for a family movie night, and noticing that I use a cane, she made sure the process was quick, smooth, and stress-free.
The store itself was clean, well-organized, and fully stocked. The staff struck the perfect balance between being professional and genuinely welcoming.
As an older customer, retail experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming, but not here. I felt comfortable, respected, and well taken care of. It was especially refreshing to see young employees take such pride in delivering excellent service.
This is my neighborhood store, and I will absolutely continue to support it. I highly recommend it to family, friends, and neighbors for their outstanding customer service and care.”

“I went here to look for a pair of Puma Rebound Layup gym shoes. Upon arrival , no one greeted me, but hey that's okay because the mission was accomplished. Found the shoes I was looking for and I'm satisfied. The store was clean, maybe 2 to 3 people shopping including me. The employees were working , so I tried the shoes and made the purchase. The gentleman that assisted us went above and beyond not only helping us find affordable option but also teaching us and fixing some missed things on my brother’s suit.
