“Took my subaru in for a clunking rattling noise. I feared it was a transmission or something drivetrain related. Nope it was just a bunch of frozen snow stuck in my heat shield, they also found a coolant leak and fixed it. Pg and gosia took care of me and were both very very nice. “I wish I could give 10 stars. Gil at the Lisle location is always awesome to work with. He is really friendly and also honest about what is going on with my vehicle. Rick at the DG location told me that I should take my car to the Hyundai dealership since I was likely a candidate for a free engine replacement under the 100K warranty. He was right- I got a whole new engine. I wouldn’t have done that if he hadn’t suggested that. All of the people I have dealt with at either location have been wonderful. Their prices are more than fair, and my oil changes never take more than 30 minutes. My husband and I are very loyal to them. Thank you guys!”
“This was my first time here and I will definitely be a repeating customer. The service is amazing! They are super friendly, fast, and honest. I appreciate that because not all mechanics are. They do not try to upsell here like some other places in Villa Park. Their prices are reasonable and their work is top quality. I have nothing but wonderful things to say after getting my oil change here. It was one of the fastest oil changes I have gotten, too. Also, I did not have to make an appointment and they were able to take me right away on a week night after work. The shop was able to locate a very strong lead on what could be wrong with my transmission, and they were able to provide exact numbers.The service was extraordinary. “I took my 2007 Chevy Suburban here due to low oil pressure problems I had, I was constantly losing oil due to a rear main seal leak, I also had a rough idle, and my car would shake when not in motion due to lifters, springs, and other engine parts being old, corroded, and damaged. Juan went above and beyond, took the entire engine apart to repair everything. It's been over 2 weeks since the repairs, I've driven over 1500 miles and my truck is feeling newer than ever, its running super smooth, and not a drop of oil in sight. Thanks Juan!”

“Incredibly happy with their work and dedication to figuring out problems! My car had a problem where the steering wheel leaned to the left and I thought it was an alignment problem so I originally took it into Mavis and they told me it was an alignment issue. I brought it into Mavis again after the first alignment and they still claimed it was an alignment issue, which didn't fix the problem at all (plus they left oil and grease marks everywhere on the driver's side door). Finally I took it to R and V and they found out the steering knuckle was the problem. My car is driving normal again! Very happy with them and the would highly recommend this shop! Thank you so much guys, will definitely come back!”

My 93 C1500 is a blast to drive and shifts just the way I wanted. Chuck is meticulous and has a ton of experience. My Dad worked with him in the late 80's told me how detail oriented Chuck was. “Great, honest same-day service!!! Came in with car that wouldn't start. Others said probably need new starter or alternator. Gary ran a simple diagnostic test for the battery and alternator and said it was simply a battery that needed replacing. Cost $265 plus tax installed. Other unnecessary repairs elsewhere would've cost hundreds if not thousands more. Thanks, Gary! Much appreciated!!!”
“I have a 92 Camaro so far everything is good My transmission is pretty much old technology and so far I'm happy with what's been done Right now they're working trying to figure out my third and fourth gear overdrive highway problem bit there good people the owner I talked 2 very nice good person how I found out about this place was by 3 other transmission shops told me 2 use them on top of all 3 other trans shops saying if it important car 2 you (me) & you care bot the car use this place they got the job done fast very fast I'd say & got it done quickly If you have transmission work you need done that would definitely recommend this place over any other place especially if you have sports car And you want special stuff done to your transmission if you're having it rebuilt I would definitely recommend using this place And one other thing I wanted to add in all of the negative reviews and this place art b******* negative Reviews I had no types of problems of any of these people that had negative reviews so I wouldn't even listen to the NONSENSE of any of the negative reviews I had a very good experience is still going but it's going good So I would not trust any of those low reviews because Most of those people that gave bad reviews are cupcakes Snow flakes Cry babies My experience went very good with this place and They're very good workers here”

“Not sure how long an oil change normally takes, it was my first one in a long time as it was the first one w/this car. I waited 2 hours. Seems the job was done well, no issues after (a week later I'm writing this). They ran a scan at no extra charge to get the code for why check engine light is on. It was easy to schedule, and easy checkout.”
