“Dr. Andy is truly one of a kind. Thank you for always being so patient, understanding, and accommodating with my boy, Osito. He’s definitely not the easiest dog to handle and is not a fan of vet visits, yet Dr. Andy and his remarkable team always treat him with so much care, gentleness, and respect. They consistently go above and beyond to make Osito feel safe and comfortable.

Dr. Andy doesn’t just treat pets—he truly cares for them. The way he takes his time, listens, and genuinely looks out for Osito’s well-being means everything to me as a pet parent. Beyond being an incredible veterinarian, he has a beautiful soul and calm presence that Osito can sense from a mile away. That kind of compassion can’t be taught—it’s who he is.

“Jr loves seeing his girlfriends at Holistic vet services. He loves Dr. Katz, he gives Hugs & kisses to her every time. He’s so excited when you say ok you’re going by Dr. Katz today. We can’t say her name without his ears going up, him prancing around, looking out the window for her! She is fantastic all around the best Dr. Johnny ever had. Worth every penny. She treats the whole body not just one particular issue. She talks you through everything, she explains in great detail, sends home a list of things to watch for, to eat, how too take care of situations. I recommend her to everyone I talk to. Johnny was so afraid, & scared, of his other vet that I knew I had to change. It’s been 4 years that he’s been with Dr. Katz she and her team have worked with him he’s whole character, attitude, personality has changed for the BEST! he was even afraid of the water. What lab do we know that’s afraid of the water? Garden hose, pool, etc u name it he was afraid. Completely different animal now. He had many health issues, he was misdiagnosed by the previous vet SEVERAL TIMES. I found out that he was OVER VACCINATED by his previous vet. Dr Katz had her hands full in the very beginning. I can’t say enough about Dr Katz and her team! Fantastic ladies! If your looking or thinking about changing vets for your animal. Don’t think just DO with Dr. Katz. The best decision I ever made. I should have started with her when he was 8 weeks old! That’s my only regret. Jr loves these ladies.”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience at this PetCo. I have come here for years for my hamster and dogs, but recently decided to add a kitten to my home. I was picking out some things for my kitten and there was an amazing employee! I regret not getting her name, but she's a shorter girl with dark hair and glasses. She knew absolutely everything about cats and kittens and gave me amazing advice. She also gave me plenty of online resources to educate myself further. She went above and beyond what her job calls for and gave me a fantastic experience. I really appreciate that she cared so much about my kitten and cared that I was aware of things to provide him a healthy and happy life.”

“My experience with Downer's Grove Animal Hospital was very pleasant. I needed a USDA health certificate to travel with my dog and they were very efficient in getting it done quickly.

Tammy answered all of my questions and prepared everything needed for my dog's health certificate. Dr. Graham did an exam on my dog and had a very kind demeanor throughout our appointment which is always appreciated.

I travel very often with my dog and even still, there's a lot of really confusing information on the web about what's required for specific countries when traveling with a pet (and that can get stressful quick) but Downers Grove Animal Hospital made sure I had all of the information I needed and I ended up getting the health certificate back the same day, which was a relief. Results may vary as the hospital isn't responsible for when the USDA processes the health certificate but I would highly recommend this animal hospital for their overall efficiency and thoroughness.

“My significant other and I had to rush my cat Zoey in because she was having vomiting issues, panting really hard and was having a hard time. I called on the way there and the receptionist was so kind took information from me over the phone so when we got there, they could take Zoey right away and that is exactly what they did. They kept us updated on what was happening. They made us feel comfortable heard and understood. The doctor was super informative down to earth and very kind. I would recommend this place to anyone not just for the great care of my cat, but how great they were to me and my significant other as we were crying and worried about our baby!
