“This veterinary office is FABULOUS! I stopped going to Cityline because I was tired of having to wait hours for vaccination appointments. I stopped in to Cityline on a Monday morning and was told it would be a 2 hour minimum wait to get their annual shots/ rabies updated. Who has that kind of time?
My husband called Oakwood and made an appt with them, and the first thing he said when he got off the phone with them was, "Wow, they're super nice!" I am so impressed after my first visit with Oakwood Veterinary. This is the first time that a veterinarian has actually taken the time to explain their blood work, go over any potential issues, and actually spend time with the dogs. Dr Hilton was awesome! She explained everything so carefully for me, and I felt confident in her suggestions
Their prices are reasonable, and I'm happy to say that it took far less time than it ever did at Cityline. The staff love at Oakwood animals, and they were so incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even helped hold my dogs' leashes while I checked out.
I won't go anywhere else now. 5 stars for Oakwood! I'm so happy to find a vet that cares about my little fur babies that mean so much to me!”

The vet was very informative, presented the differant courses of action and explained the difference in procedure between my other vet and them. Without any negativity about my other vet. I am very impressed so far and hope I continue to have this positive feeling.”

“Bri the vet tech did a great job of asking the right questions and following up on our answers before we met with the vet. As usual Dr. Flickinger had a caring approach to listening to our concerns with our cat Axel and gently handling him during exam. She had a clear plan of what we could do and suggested we follow up if he did not improve. She is highly skilled and I heartily recommend her.”

“Wade (my dog) and I had a good experience at Klein’s Vet Clinic. I will say that vet prices in general are pretty crazy these days, but Klein’s seems competitive compared to other clinics. The service was great, and the staff was patient and understanding throughout the visit.
My boy had a bit of trouble when it came to having fluid put in his ears, and it took some time for me to help calm him down, but the team handled the situation well and didn’t rush us. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I appreciate the care they showed.”

“Skylar, Jacobi, and Dr. England showed our cat Hobbes the highest level of care and compassion in the last few years we’ve been bringing him, including the past month when they fought at our side against his critical illness.
Unfortunately after a long fight, we had to make the most difficult decision that we’ve ever had to make and help him cross the rainbow bridge this week.
We were absolutely devastated, but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND in taking care of us and helping us get him in on short notice given the situation. He was in pain and we would have had to take him elsewhere unfamiliar to have the procedure done.
They were there for him and for us throughout the entire process and treated us like family. We really appreciate all of the compassion they’ve shown to us and our little Hobbes. Afterwards, they sent a beautiful card with a handwritten message from each of them, along with stamps of his paw prints.
I lost my best friend this week, and I wish it didn’t have to end this way. ? But I wouldn’t have chosen any other clinic to say goodbye to him.

“I had my three feral kittens that I rescued spayed on 2/2 of 26 and two kittens are doing great and my one cat she's part Siamese and end up ripping her stitches open and QC paws. The doctor was on vacation down in New Orleans until the 21st and I couldn't get her in and these wonderful, wonderful people at furever family got me in within 20 minutes after me calling them. They are a blessing in disguise. I would recommend them 100 folds to anybody that asked me where I bring my kittens. They really make you feel comfortable. They don't make you feel like you're a bad person or the way you look or what you drive. They are just wonderful wonderful people and I give my hats off all of them. They are a litter pricey. But are very good.. Thank you so much and I can't show you how appreciative I am. I will always go to them. And the great news is they don't live too far from me. I hope they all have a wonderful, wonderful career and they prosper and they just have wonderful lifes..”
