“Stopped in to fill up on gas, grab snacks and use the restroom. Restroom was clean and comfortable, they had quite a bit of snacks and drinks to choose from. Cashier was friendly, prices seemed reasonable.”

“Well maintained. Convenience store restrooms are clean. Surprising amount and variety of items for sale - t-shirts and other clothes, toys, etc - in addition to the usual stuff like coffee, soda. Snacks.”
“I used this department for information on whether or not Walgreens had an app that had a price checker using the UPC codes. The gal assured me they did and even assisted me in downloading their app. So now, when I'm in the store, I can use the app to check prices so I don't go over my budget. Very helpful staff at this store. I felt like a valued customer, and if you go there, hopefully, you'll have a similar experience.”

“Genuinely the best gas station in the entire Effingham area! The staff is always so kind and helpful; making each experience pleasant. The 24 hour service makes going to the gas station a breeze! Plus the diversity of their coffee makes waking up in the morning or that afternoon pick up just that much better! They also have quite the clean bathroom. Overall a wonderful place.”

“One of the cleanest gas-station single-holer restrooms we've ever seen, especially for the outdoor-access kind, which is a refreshing, welcome relief as a quick gas-&-go pit stop on our regular travel route! Friendly staff who clearly take pride in their work. Almost always the cheapest gas in about a 100-mile radius at this exit (by >30cents lately) -- that's what led us there to discover this restroom stop that is now a favorite.”

“Pilots are great. Like most, this one is clean and well stocked. Love the privacy of their bathroom stalls. Having MCD next door is a bonus. We stop here whenever we visit family in Indy.”
“Love this Effing gas station convenient store! Brian's mom works there and she's the best. Great selection of both name brand and locally produced STUFF available inside. They might even have muck boots, which is cool and weird.”
“Great visit staff was very friendly and polite, good price on diesel fuel much cheaper than anyone else only problem was the $300.00 cap on pump prepay. Pumps where a little slow definitely time for new filters. I would stop here again if I'm in the area.”

The store was clean in appearance AND smell. The interior was orderly and seemingly well stocked with goodies. This location seems to be a newer location than others I have previously visited today. The restroom was just cleaned and mopped as I was cautioned by the worker in the store.”

“The station has fair pizzas, but when it gets busy it sometimes not fair for the pizza maker, when making mistakes, like wrong cutting or missing items. Lately, it has been serving quality pizza since I see two or more actually helping instead a burden on one with orders. Overall, when the time is right good service.”

“Nice halfway stop between Indianapolis and St Louis. I live in Indy and had to commute every weekend to do a project in St Louis a while back. I learned about this spot after taking the Greyhound bus a few times, and this was their stop. I ended up driving the subsequent times, only because, while the bus was fine, the schedule was just too unpredictable. So I drove the rest of the times after that. Easy in-out, good food selection, friendly crew, and the facility/restroom always clean and well-maintained.”

“This Walgreens store is typical of most, meaning they are great stores. The pharmacy department is very helpful and informative. All the staff are well knowledgeable about their departments too. The last time I visited here their was a delightful gentleman who checked me out. He was very patient with my large number of discounted purchases. He took great care in making sure the fragile items were placed well to avoid damage as I carried them out. There was a gal at the photo counter that also helped me navigate downloading the app so I could check prices on any discounted items. I'm on a budget, and that helped immensely. The Walgreens company did a great job choosing the correct employees for this store, and I'm glad they did. I will be returning often as I have transferred some of my prescriptions from Walmart pharmacy to this pharmacy. Even though it is farther from my home, they offer a better price for most of my medications. They also let me use my Good Rx app to get better prices. Great store overall. Highly recommend it to anyone needing medications or other items.”
