“Cute small and old style mail office conveniently placed in a small downtown area , I went for a couple stamps for postcards, the attention was really good , lola took time to search for some specialty stamps (american revolution ones) i was interested in , overall great service and wasn't busy at all”

“Out of the seven post offices near my house that I visited, this location by far has the most polite employees.
It’s located just minutes off of I-290.
You can find a few free parking spots in front of the building otherwise. Also, there is a parking lot on the other side of the street that can fit more people.
This post office was pretty clean as well.
When I visited, there was only one other person in line.”
“This USPO location in Schaumburg (behind Capital Grille) is a shining example of how a post office SHOULD work! Compared to the one on Schaumburg Rd. where every employee there is miserable and spreads the same misery to all the customers.
It’s a night and day difference. My recommendation is for you to drive the extra mile and go to this location for service. Yes, there was a little wait but the service is exceptional. I’ll be going there for my postal needs from now on!”
“I can’t praise the service of USPS enough. My sister sent me a package from abroad, but the local post office put my house number as the zip code, and the address on the mailing label was missing my house number. It’s express mail, but the tracking shows no location. I was so afraid that the package would be lost somewhere. I went on the USPS website and filed an inquiry. A customer service representative from the Westchester post office sent me an email and called me the next day. She explained to me how the shipping works and assured me that she would pay attention to the package when it arrived.
It’s been nine days since my sister sent it out. She was planning to purchase another one and send it to me again. On a whim, I rechecked the USPS tracking and found it had been sent to the Westchester post office this morning. Believe it or not, I got it this afternoon. Awesome service.”

“We had some issues with a mail forwarding request and the mail not actually forwarding to requested address. Shawn called me when she was notified of the issue we were experiencing and confirmed details first, then took the initiative to call the other city post office where the update was to take place to get this corrected immediately which she did. This was so incredibly helpful and I really appreciate Shawn's help on this. She could have had me call the post office myself but she handled it for me and apologized, saying we shouldn't have to experience this. Thank you again Shawn! Appreciate you!”
“This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address ?? will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.”

“I want to share my experienced with the customer service at Arlington Heights . On August 17 , 2026 we were at this facility for our passport renewal . It was a stellar service, friendly , accommodating and took time to review our application form . I want to thank you , the one who took the time to send to me my check book that , I unknowingly left at the counter . Yes , I recd the fedex with my check book intact and I am so grateful , thankful for your honesty and time to send this to me for I did not even know that I left it in the post office counter . “I had the pleasure of working with Gale on a package of mine that was having issues being shipped from my post office. She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. “I understand that people can get a little crazy at the post office, but our experience getting passports was very smooth and seamless!
Our family of 4 got it all done in less than an hour and the young lady doing the paperwork and taking the pictures was very nice and helpful. Again everyone's experience will vary and at such a busy place, but can't complain!”
“This post office can get pretty busy, and there usually is only one person cashiering, and sometimes even doing passports on the side, but this is not the employees’ fault, its whoever does the scheduling, staffing, or hiring.
Anyways, Pat and Michael are always there to help with a smile even though they are usually a one-person team dealing with so much by themselves. Thank you both keep up the good work!”

“There is a great, great, great lady working Tuesday afternoons! She really made my day! I do not know her name but she is very helpful and knowledgeable. All other employees should go to her for training. A lot of other people are giving negative comments and negative ratings, but I think they are the ones with the bad attitudes, because this post office was a wonderful experience. The lady working here really restores my faith in the American Postal Service.”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”

I live in Lombard and the staff there are rude and never friendly or helpful. When asked a question their faces show a look of disgust and then a sign; like I'm bothering them”
“I was waiting for my package this afternoon. A female customer walked in, and even though there were other customers waiting in line—including me—she went up to a female employee who was assisting another customer. She asked about an “international package,” demanded a label, and even after the employee explained that the machine wasn’t working, she kept asking the same question three times... That female customer really has no regard for public etiquette—doesn’t she see that other people are waiting in line? She’s talking about “professionalism,” but she should practice what she preaches first... Please—she didn’t even stand in line properly and cut in front of others, while a single female employee was handling all the waiting customers by herself. Everyone else saw it too, yet she’s acting like the employee didn’t help her… It seems like she came here just to stir up trouble. She’s talking as if she were the one who was wronged… wow...”

“Isaiah who works there went well above and beyond to help me Track my package!! This shipment went from Boston to Colorado, then through their facility in Illinois, to New Jersey, back to Massachusetts where it belonged! I Spoke with many different people along the way, including the Vendor who sold me my package and it was Isaiah who followed up and called me numerous times to assist and update me the whole way through, until my package finally arrived! Bravo to Isaiah, he's the man! Exceptional customer service and well done sir! I truly appreciated your help!”

“Service has been improved. After all, this is federal job, and has a lot of rules for employees to follow.
I am asking community to support local USPS office, and asking to understand why people are actually serious about their job. I am hoping that administration will see my review! Please return two blue mail collections bins . It was not good idea to remove those. Before Christmas letters were falling out from that only one box. It creates traffic jam ,and line of 2 to 3 cars by that drop off box.”
“I recently needed to set up a PO Box and visited this post office. The paperwork seemed a bit confusing at first, but the manager, David, was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly patient, took the time to help me fill everything out correctly, and made sure I got my keys without any stress. Excellent customer service! Thank you so much, David!”
