160 N York St, Elmhurst“I pass by this place on the way to work everyday and didnt even know it was there. Visited for the first time and it was such a cool place and the friendliest people! Will be going back whenever i can!”
“Super friendly staff and customers, good selection of models. I really appreciate the effort the team puts into building their community, including running events, little competitions and tournaments.”
“I recently visited Pete's to sell a coin collection. They were a little further from me than some other coin dealers, but they have some very good Google reviews. I was happy with the service and prices, and highly recommend them.”
“Beautiful assortment of gift items (even if you yourself are the gift recipient). Everything is nicely arranged and fun to look at. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A joy to visit!”
“I'm a huge fan of Fair Game, and try to spend money supporting my friendly local game store whenever possible. As a Dungeon Master for my D&D group there's a great array of official content, third party sources, and minis for my game. As a parent, I'm thrilled by their large selection of games age appropriate for my 3 year old. Every time I walk in their staff are friendly and helpful, and it's an excellent environment for the kids in the area. Can't say enough positive things about the place!”
“I stopped by today for the first time in a decade and I had a blast with two young folks with autism who delight in all things train-themed, especially Thomas the Tank Engine! There is a very cool interactive model train in the center of the store, and then aisles of items related to trains- including art supplies, craft kids, books... and then also Legos and my favorite brand, Schleich! Fabulous Bruder trucks, too. I didn't interact with the staff, but they were present and busy helping all the customers. I also met several other train enthusiasts who were happy to share their love to Thomas the Tank Engine with my group and that was so special to me! Free street parking. McDonalds is right across the street so we stopped for milkshakes after the train store and it was the perfect afternoon!!”
“Enormous selection of crafting items. I went for artificial flowers to put down in the cemetary. Found a reasonable selection AND hit a 50% off sale... talk about a deal...”
“Been a big fan of heroes for years for a lot of different reasons. The owner is fantastic and their communication with social media responses is very quick. It's very convenient to know what's in stock and to get timely answers. Most hobby places I've dealt with in the past are very slow when it comes to responses/non existent. Outside of great communication, owner/staff are very friendly and overall fantastic people to deal with. To the fun stuff - it's a classic card shop with a great selection and cool memorabilia as well. They also do very fun raffles as well which is extra reason to continue to spend money on your hobby :) Keep up the great work!”
“This was a great end to a tragic loss my husband passed a few months ago and he had gold coins I thought weren't worth very much well I was mistaken to my surprise”
“I just got an ATLAS 60 ft auto parts boxcar, a Walthers Two Bay Covered Hopper and a Scaletrains Havelock Shops BN Gondola. They all look great and they also gave me a tote bag and HO/N track Gauge. 5 STARS!”
“What a great time for my Grandson’s birthday! He turned 5 and loved it. They couldn’t have been nicer to all of the family who also enjoyed it too. Aunts, Uncles, cousins and of course Grandmas and Grandpa.”
“This is a great toy and collectible shop. They have a great selection of toys and stuff. The prices on some of their items are a lot lower than other places. Great little gem for starting a collection or building up the one you already have.”
“Steven is very knowledgeable about the trading cards and provides great customer service. I've been buying supplies and cards from him for years and was never disappointed. Highly recommend.”
“Been all over the Chicagoland area in and out of sports cards/memorabilia shops throughout the years. I'll say Elite Cards is top of the line. When I say "top of the line", I mean both Ronnie & Gary buy-sell-trade with integrity. Wealth of knowledge in the industry. It's not just about making a "sale" with these guys, they're in it because they love what they do! A lot of shops I've been too, I've always picked up on the used car salesman vibe but not here. Straight shooters, no sugar coating, and or over inflating value on products they have. Simply tell them what you're trying to accomplish and they'll help you get there! Thanks guys!”
“Very knowledgeable staff, and got everything I needed for my mead. Their in-house brewing was a great way to learn, and ask any questions I had. A great event to check out.”
“I just purchased 2 sets of dice and an MTG single and I am honestly blown away. I just checked my email and saw that the emailed receipt included pictures of the exact dice I bought and the single. I'm sure you were able to download and adapt some sort of repository of mtg cards (which alone is going the extra mile) but for the dice I imagine that you had to photograph and log all of the different color variations!? The only Brick and mortar stores I can think of that email me a receipt with photos and hyperlinks is Best buy and Microcenter, which are billion dollar companies. If this is a huge company owned by some hedge fund please let me know, otherwise this has set the bar for all small brick and mortar stores in my book.”
“Went in to grab a couple of board games with a gift card, unfortunately The Gaming Goat in the city by our house closed down. Michael was extremely helpful, very friendly and personable. He gained returning customers today, we'll definitely be coming back!”

25 W Plainfield Rd, Countryside“Awesome experience and owner! I brought my eight-year-old and five-year-old into the shop to teach them about coins, and he gave them a few free coins and took some of his time to teach my boys. Thank you very much for this great experience. Thank you for the good pricing too.”
“I was looking for pleated banner flags for my deck. I wanted quality flags, preferably made in the USA. Donna in the office of Liberty Flags helped me find the perfect size for my deck. And they arrived in time for the 4th of July! Thank you, Liberty Flags!”
“Super bummed that this store is closing. It appears to have been closing for a while, but I was surprised to get a fairly recent email saying that they were still open. This place was a total staple of my childhood. I loved picking out Precious Moments here, in addition to browsing the beautiful collection of Lladros and so much more here. I bought Beanie Babies here when that craze was happening, many Oz pieces, and loved the gorgeous Cinderella Lladro display they once had--so intricate and beautiful. I'll miss this place! I popped in recently to buy some more Precious Moments, since they were what first really brought me to the shop.”

4172 N Harlem Ave, Norridge“great place to buy toys reminds me of old kb toys from back in the 90's and 2000's i bought a plush bulldog and a plush basset hound and some 1/24th scale diecasts from b zone toys”
“Highly recommend for all thing model train related. The owners are so very knowledgeable and love to share their knowledge with you. My son had questions on a DCC controller and was given multiple options based on his future plans for his layout.”

180 S Mannheim Rd, Hillside“This is a great store - always well stocked and clean. The staff are nice. Tonight I forgot my wallet and the person working the front, Anita, was very kind and helped me set up my apple pay on my phone. There wasn’t a line and I’m sure she had other stuff going on to close the store, but she took the time to walk me through the process so that I could go home with my matte varnish :)Thank you Anita!”
“Hello there my daughter draws real good and I wanted to surprise her and get her a art supplies the whole set looked at plenty of stores and nothing then went to Michaels and that was it so much stuff omg loved it found everything right there and more..”

9AM - 3:30PM
35 Chestnut Ave, Westmont“Among the many philatelic (stamp) auction houses Rasdale is a standout.Their auction catalogues are worth the price of admission: lively and well written with just the right touch of humor. Even if you don't participatethey are a delight to read. I've successfully acquired many choice items fromthem. And if you are selling (far too common these days) you can rest assured their mid-western values and character will guide you painlessly.Whether you are perusing their extensive catalogue for elusive items for your collection, or selling dad's (or grandpa's) cherished stamp albums I cannot recommend them highly enough. PS-why don't you keep one of your father's albums for yourself? I think the kids would love pouring over it!”
“It's well supplied and clean , full of products for crafting stuff for events...prices on some products a little to high but some are really cheap ...it's worth a try special now on holidays season.”
“I have been going to GameStops for years. The store managers are always helpful and you can always find something to buy. I recommend getting the pro membership and coming back evy month to buy something. It pays for itself in 3 visits.”
“Great service, always available and responsive and the best part is the price. Before dealing with them I went to two other coin shops in the area and was disappointed. After my successful coin sale with Elmhurst Coins I am bringing all my future business here.”
