I did my research and was prepared to have to haggle to get a fair price. The items I was selling were weighed and their offer was literally 99.6% of what I was hoping to receive. On the buy side, I was really impressed with the extremely minimal markup. What a pleasant surprise as a first-time customer here! “I used to live nearby & spent many hours in this store. The owners are wonderful! I bought so many collector Barbie’s & a few Gene dolls. I met the designer of the gene doll, Mel Odom at an event at the store, got his autograph. It was such fun! I plan on passing all those Barbie’s down to my 2 granddaughters (ages 16 & 18) when they get a bit older. They have picked which ones they want. I live in cali now & miss shopping at gigis dolls. It’s a great place to shop & I highly recommend it! Wish I lived closer so I could go say hello & get some more dolls! If you love dolls you have to check out their store, you’ll be in heaven!”

“So many different, new (and some old) games to choose from for all ages. Employee Kyle was so helpful pointing out popular, or his favorite, games. He even taught us how to play a few.
Open one Saturday a month til midnight. You can bring in your own games or use the complementary games available in the store.

They were alert and active, helping us with any problem we had and guided our hand through starting this complex yet unchallenged hobby. The store is also fairly cozy and located in a great neighborhood with plenty to do.”

“Operated by two incredibly passionate and kind individuals who are incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. When we visited we got to learn about the smithing process and the history of the weapons. We even got to learn some basic dueling techniques with training blades. An amazing experience through and through.”

“The owner, I believe her name is Chris, was delightful. I haven't been to a game store in a long time and there was a vast selection of table games to choose from. I love the fact that it was not video games but board games and card games. We spent almost an hour in this store. It was easy to negotiate for someone who is disabled and they have game days and nights every week. You can look at the schedule as you walk in the door and that was very nice. While the actual game times and dates are held in another building north of this location, it appeared that it could be a lot of fun to go there and we plan on doing so. We walked in expecting to get one or two games, we walked out with six and spent quite more than we expected. Expected. But the games were great and we have enjoyed them over the last 2 weeks. An outstanding experience.”

“I was at the store on Monday, 8/10. At checkout, I was greeted by Timothy and Jack, both so pleasant. Upon returning to my car, I realized I did not have my keys. I returned to the store about four times, trying to retrace my steps. I wanted to cry like a baby!!
Long story short, Timothy offered to help me search, and I’m not kidding...the first place he looked, HE FOUND MY KEYS!! I was (and am!) so happy. It had been a crazy several days leading up to that moment.

“When I was a kid I sometimes got dropped off at my aunt’s house in LaGrange, and my little cousin and I would skateboard here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, dying to get a glimpse at some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the display case or buy a few packs or cards of our own. Yes Steven has that very dry sense of humor and droll attitude that some people might not like, but that’s PART of Steven’s experience! He’s never mean. We LOVED going and talking to him, sometimes he would get a little aggravated with us and we would turn to each other and giggle, and he would talk to us about the card game and help us understand things. If I could go back in time and relive those core memories I would without a second guess, times were much simpler when we skateboarded down the street to Steven’s. He also taught us a lot of invaluable lessons! One I still use to this day! (Read the fine print on eBay listings, they’ll send you an empty box if they can!)”
“Kyle gave a class on beer making to my wife and adult daughter. We brewed a 5-gallon batch of beer. Kyle went through the steps with explanations for each step. A wonderful day of learning. We sampled some delicious apple cider as well. We bought some books on beer (and wine) making. We will be back to purchase beer making equipment so my daughter and I can make BEER!!!”

“This place is really great! Highly recommended! Especially to those people who really love stuff for crafts. This place is the best! They have so many interesting things here, their selection is very large, and the whole place is really enjoyable. This spot is very clean, cozy, neat, organized, and bright. Everything here is great! Fantastic customer service! Their employees here are really nice, decent, and knowledgeable. They all know how to treat their customers so right. Also, they will help you to find the things you need. They are so accommodating. You can also check out so easily because they have many cashiers. Awesome service. This Michaels is very accessible, their location is very near and easy to find. You can go to their spot in just a few minutes from your area. Very convenient. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because their restrooms need some repair. But their place is still my preferred place to buy things for crafts and others. They are way better and cheaper than other stores around the place. Plus, this Michaels is also a great place to buy some decorations for Christmas and other special holidays. You can also order online and visit their website. They will bring your order to you quickly. Really wonderful spot! All of their items have really good quality. A really must-visit place for arts and crafts. I will definitely go back here again when I am nearby and I need some crafts again. Thank you for your awesome service guys!
