Green Tree Inn of Elsah is a cute and comfortable bed and breakfast in a quiet, peaceful, and gorgeous little village. The rooms are nice, clean, spotless, spacious, comfortable, and darling, each with unique feel and decor and beautiful furniture. It feels like staying at a family member's house. The hospitality is superb, kind, warm, wonderful, and inviting. The proprietors are excellent, amazing, knowledgeable hosts who make guests feel right at home. They accommodate needs and ensure guests are taken care of. The breakfast is amazing, tasty, and one of the best, large enough to be satisfying. Sweet treats, coffee, and a special afternoon treat are also phenomenal. The experience is exemplary, perfect, and fairytale-like, whether for a weekend getaway or a wedding. The venue is beautiful for ceremonies, with a gazebo outside and a common area with natural light ideal for getting ready. It is a highly recommended and wonderful place to stay.
This inn was so wonderful. We were always comfortable and welcomed with genuine hospitality. It is a historic village with good areas to walk. Our breakfasts were delicious and filling. And good coffee!
