“The pizza was great and the air conditioning was cold. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a nice little spot and wasn't as packed as nearby restaurants. Entering the building was like stepping back in time. It's beautiful, historical and lovely place with an outdoor patio. Definitely recommend trying it out if your in the area.”

“We looked for a quiet respite near St Louis and hit the jackpot at the Green Tree Inn of Elsah, IL. The hosts are welcoming and clearly dedicated to serving their guests through comfy accommodations and gourmet breakfasts and afternoon treats. A bonus was the beauty and solitude of a genuine 1850s riverfront village. Strolling the attractive streets, visiting the beautiful college campus nearby, and marveling at the Great River Road, the majestic bluffs, and Ole Man River—good for the soul. Unpretentious with class and charm—that’s the Green Tree Inn. Highly recommended!”
