I’m honored to have learned how to become a proficient artist by Dominic over the years. He is dedicated and able to convey what we as students need to do effortlessly. He also has a great sense of humor, which I think makes it that much better of a studio. Every other instructor here are all so incredibly talented also! “The Noyes Cultural Arts Center is an absolute gem in the community. The building is filled with incredible creative energy, housing talented local artists, engaging galleries, and excellent theater performances. The historic architecture of the building really adds to the overall charm, and the surrounding park area is a beautiful, quiet place to relax before or after checking out an exhibit. It is a truly fantastic place to support the local arts scene, and I highly recommend visiting if you appreciate creativity and a welcoming atmosphere!”

“My kids have been taking classes at One River in Evanston for years, during the school year and the summer. It is one of their absolute favorite places to be. They wish One River had a boarding school:) The classes are really engaging, offering enough structure and freedom, to keep my kids learning new skills while fostering their creativity. The teachers are AMAZING with my gender queer, neurodivergent kids. Shout out to Ms. Marissa, Dot and Ms. Sally!! My kids Love you! I am also so appreciative of the front desk staff who are super warm, kind, helpful and supportive. The time my kids spend here will undoubtedly be cherished memories, and may even be setting them up for their future careers in the arts.”
