“I was impressed with this Dollar Tree because the store was very clean and orderly. Although there were some empty shelves, most shelves were stocked and items were neatly displayed. There were no boxes in the aisles like most Dollar Tree stores I have visited. Their staff were very polite and helpful including the cashier. There was a large parking lot with plenty of parking including parking spaces with people with Disabilities. I would highly recommending visiting this store.”
“Review written 1/17/2026. There was only one register open with long lines. Also a lot of the prices on items in this store seemed higher than other dollar trees, even with the recent increases across all dollar trees.
But overall, great selection
Also I recommend bringing a bag otherwise you will have to pay the city of chicago bag fee and bag tax”

“I went to this store and was amazed at how clean, organized and well merchandised the store is. Yeah, if you know, you know, most Family Dollars are a hot mess BUT not this one. While in there shopping, I heard customers being checked out inform the cashier that they too were impressed. When I got to the register I said it too. It just so happen to be the store manger that was cashiering. I can tell it meant a lot to hear this from the customers. She told me she is the store manager and has been at that location for 3 years. She didn't want her location to be what we have come to expect of a Family Dollar. I mean, merchandising and organization was never on my expectations when I walked into them but it is what I found at this location. I hope she recognized. She seemed to be the only employee working. Well done. Keep up the good work and thank you for raising YOUR bar.

“Compared to other local Dollar Trees, within the area, this one is the one to go to. They have a self check out area, so you won't have to wait for cashiers like the other locations.
This location is very well clean & organized & the shelves are stocked. A welcoming atmosphere!

“This place is the best store I ever Been to. They are so friendly they treat you like family. Every time I come to this store it makes my day. He has the best clothes and at the best prices. He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. Usually at other stores it’s like 999% increase for the items he sells. This store is also the cheapest store that I ever been to.”
“They always close early. Today I went in at 9:35, grabbed everything on my list, and went to the register around 9:50. I couldn't find anyone working, so I intermittently called out Hello?? While I waited at the register for ten minutes. Finally, I heard the kid working and asked if I could pay, but he said no, he closed 5 minutes ago (so at 9:55). Yeah, it's just five minutes, but if there are people shopping, don't don't close the freaking store down with customers still inside.
Edit one year later: I haven't experienced them closing early for about six months (and I've been going a lot). Love all the people who reguarly work here.”
“On Friday there was a young man with shaggy hair and I believe glasses too? working there. I’ve never seen a dollar store employee show hospitality like that before. There was a lady who was picking stuff out and had her hands full and he rushed over to bring her a basket if wanted it, and the. He came over and asked if I wanted him to bag my groceries even tho it was self checkout. I also accidentally clicked the wrong button and he fixed it really quick. It was just so sweet and memorable because you don’t expect someone to care so much at a dollar tree haha.”
“Pretty good spot to browse for your needs. Sometimes there are surprising finds such as large Tetra brand doughnut shaped airstones for my fish. Good spices, kitchen gadgets, cleaning supplies and food storage options. Worth a shot for a lot of things.”

“I come here regularly for house cleaning and hygiene products. The store is generally clean. Products well stocked but I suggest going early in the month because deliveries here aren’t made regularly. Food staples hit or miss. My only grape is there is almost always a long line to check out. Otherwise I like this Dollar Tree”

“Pretty average dollar tree, my biggest complaint would be how often there is stocking carts simply left out and blocking paths. Outside of that I have had no problem with any staff and the facility stays relatively clean.”
“They've really stepped their game up a lot recently. A lot of options. Plus it seems they've also been expanding into the smoke shop type business. Has all your basic needs, friendly cashiers, lotto machines, sundries, snacks, vape pens ...etc ? A really neat spot to check out in the neighborhood”

“I love this place for the huge selection and great prices of food beauty cleaning items etc. such a wide variety too bad they don’t have a this many items per person thing because a lot of people go and buy let’s say I want RC soda so instead of a couple I buy all almost or all they run out of things fast I even know people who buy things there to re sell at there stores which is wrong and unfair they usually restock on Sunday mornings so Sunday evenings are s good time Togo especially at this one on Lincoln it’s open till 10pm even on Sunday gotta love that.”
“The door exiting the dollar tree has not worked in probably over a year so you have to push it to leave. I'm not gonna give them a bad review for a door that doesn't work. I mostly come here for shipping envelopes for my eBay packages and for that it gets the job done. Cashiers are typically very nice here which is a plus.”
“These folks got to be some of the most generous employees they are highly skilled people in personality. Every time you come here the line is to the refrigerators in the back, it’s like they have a fan base how good they take care of the store and its customers. “I love going to all Dollar store. I find items that are really budget friendly and affordable. I just have to go to the one far from where I live because they have all of what I need.. Also, What stand out on this one store is its very clean, neat and very organized and you can find all what you are looking for in just one aisle (talking about sling regimen) So, whoever is doing the facing or fronting? They’re really doing a great job. Friendly and helpful people too…”

“The store is always a mess. I’ve often been there when there’s only one cashier and about 30 customers trying to check out, this has happened more than once. I only buy frozen food processed candy and cranberry juice from this place. Oh yeah and the small Dawn dishwashing liquid (convenient enough to keep everywhere). I suggest you bring your own bag(s) from home bc the hand held shopping baskets they provide are so nasty filthy and cruddy (the basket's actual original color was green but the insides are now black, i’m positive they have never been cleaned or wiped off EVER. Plus they charge for bags.”
