“Blick is the best art store in Evanston with the nicest people always willing to help. Blick is one of the reasons I love Evanston so much. This big beautiful amazing store has plenty of stock and wonderful gifts as well. I literally can find something for anyone here. Clinton and the store manager, Jason were especially helpful today. But any day, all of their employees are available and willing to help. I will always choose this store and hope that it stays in Evanston for the long haul.”
“Brought in coins from my dad’s collection. I tried to find out the cost of coins on my own and was overwhelmed. Then didn’t even know how to begin to sell them. Went to Oakton Coins and Collectables. They went through them and gave me a price. We sold to them and trusted they were being fair! I’ll probably never know but made that deco to sell to them. Hard to part with my dad’s collection but we lived in Oakton for my entire youth and young adult life. Maybe meant to be.”

“The coolest stop we made on our short trip to Chicago this time! An absolute MUST visit for anyone who loves horror.
Moses is an absolute gem human and we stayed in the shop for an hour just chatting with him. We spent money, and got some amazing stuff, but the experience we had conversing with him was the best part of our time in the city. More people should be like him in life! Horror movie knowledge and just genuine cool knowledge too.

I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”
“Operated by two incredibly passionate and kind individuals who are incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. When we visited we got to learn about the smithing process and the history of the weapons. We even got to learn some basic dueling techniques with training blades. An amazing experience through and through.”

“Very happy I discovered this shop. I have never built models before. 5 months later I am on my 4th model car from this shop. This hobby shop has 100s if not thousands of model cars, tanks, planes, ships, helicopters and more. All at reasonable prices. You can get Tamaiya and other brands of acrylic paint, brushes, and other model supplies all at affordable prices. Janice is always kind and super helpful and patient. I would recommend this shop to experienced and beginner hobbyist looking to get into it. I was never a model builder but now I am an avid enthusiast thanks to Timeless Hobby Shop!”

“We picked up a Pokémon Center 151 ETB and a Crown Zenith ETB from this shop and had a great experience. I actually called right after they had closed the day before, and he still answered and kindly asked me to call back the next day. When we came in, he was super friendly, easy to work with, and gave us a great deal on both ETBs.

“I wonder if there’s anything different between Hobby Lobby and Michael’s art store. They seemed to sell similar things. 10 days before Christmas and Hobby Lobby is already having 60% off Christmas stuffs?
Maybe Hobby Lobby is a hair cheaper but also the interior is slightly darker and can use a remodeling.”

“This is one of my favorite gaming stores because of their excellent selection of board games, warhammer 40k stuff, figurines, you name it, but what I am into most lately is the DCC (Dungeon Crawler Classics) series, and Heroines keeps a good stock of individual campaigns and some of the larger DCC box sets available. The owner and staff are always friendly, and the space is much larger on the inside than it looks, making it a good venue for the events they have scheduled (the store is located inside what used to be a public library branch). They also have a decent selection of books and graphic novels, many of which are fantasy or scifi oriented.”
