Grayland Station is a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts and model collectors. This small shop offers an impressive selection of model airplanes, featuring both commercial and military aircraft. Visitors can find popular American airlines like Spirit, Delta, American, and United, as well as some European options. The prices are competitive, often better than many online retailers, making it a great spot for finding unique models. While the store could benefit from a bit more organization, the variety keeps customers coming back. The owner is known for being friendly and helpful, often providing discounts and gifts like safety manuals or stickers. With a mix of vintage and new items, as well as a range of books and magazines, Grayland Station is an exceptional find for hobbyists in the Chicago area. Many customers express excitement about their discoveries and look forward to returning for more models in the future.
