“We held our wedding this past Friday 03/15 at Ovation Chicago and could not have been any more happier!On April 24, 2018, 6 years ago, I screenshot a post from Ovation Chicago on instagram and knew I wanted to had to get married there one day. This was 3 years before I even met my husband. Fast forward to March 2024 and we had our dream wedding.Spencer and his entire team were beyond helpful, organized, and very patient throughout the entire process. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our entire vision was exactly what we imagined and couldn't be more grateful. Even several days later, we are still getting compliments on how much fun our guests had! We are over the moon and highly recommend this venue for your next party! Thanks Ovation!”

“The meal here was pretty good and our server, Lucas, was a notch next to perfection. He helped with questions we all had. He made sure our drinks never got low, and all with a great attitude.The foods we're all good for the most part, just salt on fries was way too much. Our friends enjoyed their meals. My burger was a bit short of the mark, as they could not make it how I wanted it done. We might go back for another take of the menu.The desserts were delicious and topped off the meal.Parking: Stay away from the pigs in a blanket, as just smoked sausage wrapped in crust, but greasy sausage.”

“Regardless of a few negatives (an hour wait for a lane and lots of food items were unavailable). It was a GREAT time!The counter clerk was helpful in getting us the best deal for our games. The cashier/ server was gracious and helpful in working on getting us a drink/ food deal based on available product.They were both knowledgeable and helpful!Some of the best service I've had in a long time.Also had lots of issues with our lane/pins/ball return and they switched us as soon as possible. ☺We also got 100 arcade credits for only $30 and that lasted the almost hour wait for a lane and then a good 20 minutes after we were done bowling!Games are 1-5 credits (not bad! My favorite, skeeball was only 1 credit! )And there were lots of cool prizes too!I got a purple teddy bear with a lime green bowlero shirt for only 1000 tickets! (His name is Benny ?)About $200 spent on a family of 4 and that included unlimited bowling- (we played 3 games), 6 long Island ice teas, appetizer/ beer special and 100 arcade credits!My 11 & 4 yr old boys had so much fun- but I think my partner and I had MORE fun! ♥TOTALLY WORTH IT!10/10I would go back again and recommend to everyone!Great service. “Wow!!! Where to start? Complimentary valet parking, A wonderful accomplished singer in the bar area. She was delightful and the perfect genre to settle back to a wonderful meal with her singing in the background at a volume level that was perfect to enjoy conversation and her songs at the same time.. The food ... perfectly prepared, visually appealing in presentation and delicious. The wine list ... very nice. The service ... we can't wait to return.”
“The Taíno exhibit is excellently curated. I appreciate how they are able to connect common phrases with the culture of the indigenous people. I never fully appreciated the impact that the indigenous people had to Puerto Rico until I saw this exhibit. Furthermore, I love the installations outside, and Boricua who has been to the island will immediately recognize the CouQui sounds playing from the speakers. I also appreciated the staff, especially the director of development. She was so knowledgeable and had such passion for art and Puerto Rican culture. Please give her a raise.”
“I go to car related events .This place has improved with the world of wheels over the years. I still miss the lowrider hopping contest they used to have when it was at Mccormick Place. Maybe one day they'll bring that back”

What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”

“The Dollhouse was fun and our instructor was hilarious. She made us laugh so much. I loved how she never broke out of character. My biggest issue with this place is how dirty it was. Bathrooms were gross. The escape room had hair, dirt, stains, etc. I understand the retro theme but I didn’t expect for it to not be cleaned since the 80s. Hopefully they can hire a cleaning person at least once every 2 weeks to keep this awesome place clean.”
“Unbelievable collection of unique vintage cars. The Northern Illinois Chevelle club I was with were blown away by the quality of the vehicles in this collection. You won’t be disappointed!”
“We visited here as it was on the Frank Lloyd Wright map, and although he wasn't the architect, we were still interested to see the work of one of his contemporaries. We were greeted by Theresa, who took us on a tour of the whole house which lasted around an hour and a half. Theresa was so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to meet and be guided by her. She was so knowledgeable about the house and the families who had lived there, and my partner and I walked away feeling like we had learned so much. The house itself is full of surprises and interesting quirks, and Theresa did a brilliant job of bringing it to life for us. We absolutely loved our time there, but also feel sad that a house of such historical importance isn't receiving the funding needed to fully restore it. I really recommend taking this tour, as not only will you enjoy learning about this amazing house, you will also be helping to preserve its place in history.”
“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was).The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation.The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun!This is where I will go for our next party!”
“This gallery was exquisite. Of the abundance of art galleries in Chicago, during my visit, I would have to say , this is one of my favorites. The staff is very polite, the host is very knowledgeable of the art that is being displayed, the building is well kept, and the art is very well selected. Many galleries are a hole in the wall location with good art or very nice locations but all they display is overpriced scribbles on canvas and call it fine art. This location is a nice location with very nice art being displayed from a range of artists that have art priced for all budgets . Highly recommend when visiting Chicago.”

First time I ordered the Braciola, super tender beef, creamy polenta I believe..this time the lamb shank...I almost fainted lol. This Lamb was so tender. Damn! I think it's time to dine in. My new favorite spot in Forest Park..I'm excited ?”
