“SO SO GOOD. Irazu is a Chicago institution and Henry, the owner, is awesome. If you have not been here, do yourself a favor and go. I get the steak burrito (upgrade to skirt steak) with avocado and then I pour Irazu salsa (the best salsa ever) on it. It is so good that I have to come in to get this burrito fix every week. I was out of town last week and I couldn't make it in for my burrito, so now I am currently experiencing Irazu burrito withdrawal. Anyway. Go! Support this wonderful local business!”

“We held our wedding this past Friday 03/15 at Ovation Chicago and could not have been any more happier!On April 24, 2018, 6 years ago, I screenshot a post from Ovation Chicago on instagram and knew I wanted to had to get married there one day. This was 3 years before I even met my husband. Fast forward to March 2024 and we had our dream wedding.Spencer and his entire team were beyond helpful, organized, and very patient throughout the entire process. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our entire vision was exactly what we imagined and couldn't be more grateful. Even several days later, we are still getting compliments on how much fun our guests had! “I had the pork chop cooked medium well with broccolini. The chop was moist and flavorful with an apple/raisin sauce. Very good. Broccolini was fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Head cocktail; much like a Cosmopolitan. Very good with just enough vodka. Topped it off with brownie sundae. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.”

“Regardless of a few negatives (an hour wait for a lane and lots of food items were unavailable). It was a GREAT time!The counter clerk was helpful in getting us the best deal for our games. The cashier/ server was gracious and helpful in working on getting us a drink/ food deal based on available product.They were both knowledgeable and helpful!Some of the best service I've had in a long time.Also had lots of issues with our lane/pins/ball return and they switched us as soon as possible. ☺We also got 100 arcade credits for only $30 and that lasted the almost hour wait for a lane and then a good 20 minutes after we were done bowling!Games are 1-5 credits (not bad! My favorite, skeeball was only 1 credit! )And there were lots of cool prizes too!I got a purple teddy bear with a lime green bowlero shirt for only 1000 tickets! (His name is Benny ?)About $200 spent on a family of 4 and that included unlimited bowling- (we played 3 games), 6 long Island ice teas, appetizer/ beer special and 100 arcade credits!My 11 & 4 yr old boys had so much fun- but I think my partner and I had MORE fun! ♥TOTALLY WORTH IT!10/10I would go back again and recommend to everyone!Great service. I came with my inspiration photos and color scheme I wanted to stick to a few months in advance and The Party Spot made it happen. The price is well worth it. I only had to bring my own dj, food, and sweets.Nadia even helped keep the gifts that were received throughout the night organized. Best baby shower I could have asked for. Beyond beautiful and the best place to host an event if you don’t want to be left feeling stressed out and stretched thin.”

“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. I am so happy I found this incredible shared rental space in the neighborhood to hold my classes and build community. It's perfect!”

“We were in the area and remembered that Two Chefs was down the street. We have emotional ties to this restaurant because they catered our wedding in 2011 and we were very impressed with their food. The waitress greeted us at the door and was very professional, polite, and well dressed. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, it was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and the crust was flaky like you would expect. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli it was so delicious and brought back memories. We will be back for sure when we are in the area again. If your in the area, I recommend giving this place a try!”

“The Taíno exhibit is excellently curated. I appreciate how they are able to connect common phrases with the culture of the indigenous people. I never fully appreciated the impact that the indigenous people had to Puerto Rico until I saw this exhibit. Furthermore, I love the installations outside, and Boricua who has been to the island will immediately recognize the CouQui sounds playing from the speakers. I also appreciated the staff, especially the director of development. She was so knowledgeable and had such passion for art and Puerto Rican culture. Please give her a raise.”

“The Dollhouse was fun and our instructor was hilarious. She made us laugh so much. I loved how she never broke out of character. My biggest issue with this place is how dirty it was. Bathrooms were gross. The escape room had hair, dirt, stains, etc. I understand the retro theme but I didn’t expect for it to not be cleaned since the 80s. Hopefully they can hire a cleaning person at least once every 2 weeks to keep this awesome place clean.”

“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was).The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation.The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun!This is where I will go for our next party!”
