“Dollar general in new Athens stays open till 10 pm Monday through Sunday and prices on somethings are cheeper than Marissa Dg and top it off with closing an hour early all week . So the price difference is probably due to 7 less hours in Marissa.”
“This dollar general was very crowded as there where boxes from the truck lining the isles. Two women working tirelessly away stocking literally an entire store full of boxes. So many idk where theyll fit all those extras Im sure are mostly toys and gift sets 4 the holidays. The 4th star goes to the 2 ladies tag teaming it, not the company who wont provide an extra set of hands to help them deal with it.”

The store was clean and the female cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. I've already recommended this location and I will return when I'm in that location.”
“Went to the store at 8:15 am on 2/26. Store was NOT open, employee was inside and unlocked the door about 20 after 8, website says the store opens at 8:00 am not 8:20 am. The store is one of the better ones in the area.”

Household decor better than any other area DG and is visually pleasing due to how well organized they keep the store. Convenient location too!”
