“We were here on a family vacation, I have too say this woman is fantastic. I heard they screwed in a Walmart. I have to preach support this store! She has excellent meat, and an excellent liquor section. Great store and had me at pigglywiggly! Fantastic service, and actually had awesome 250 anniversary shirts! I wish we had this in our town. Boycott Walmart and go back to a mom and pop style grocery while you can! We will definitely be back. Wish I had bought more shirts! I read up on the owner she is deeply involved in the community! A++

“if you appreciate anything Mexican/Latino/Hispanic, then this is a must stop while visiting downtown Galena! My family & I discovered it during our recent vacation there. We found they carry snacks, groceries, refreshments, traditional cultural souvenirs, household items, & more. The owner was very friendly, patient and helpful, answering our many questions about some of the yummy looking snacks and other misc items. We will definitely be going back again on our return trips to Galena! Make sure you stop in while you're there too!NOTE: their address is 245 N. Main St. in downtown Galena, Illinois. “I've been to a lot of Walmarts, probably thousands, in my lifetime. I am writing to tell you how impressed I was with your garden center. We arrived late at night to pick up a few items while on vacation and I decided to go into your garden area. I expected that it would be closed and inaccessible. I wandered around in there for about 10 minutes and was in awe of how much care was taken of these plants. It was, by far, the most well taken care of garden center I have ever seen. Plants were manicured and well watered, and arranged so beautifully. Even the ones outside on display were obviously tended to. I wanted to put a good word in for whoever is taking care of the plant center, as they are very obviously doing a much better job than any other Walmart I have ever seen.”
“Daniel at register 11 checked us out today and he’s absolutely the best bagger with the greatest personality!! Greeted with a smile and short banter as he scanned and bagged, putting all the frozen stuff together and balancing the other stuff evenly in the bags.

“Great selection of all kinds of salsa, dip mixes, BBQ sauce, etc. Bought the Bloody Mary but havent tried it yet. Only complaint is that the products are overpriced.”
