“Grow Geneva is a really cute shop, and if you are a plant lover, I think it is a must-visit. I really liked how the whole store revolves around plants without feeling like a typical garden center. They have a large collection of cards, bookmarks, journals, and other stationery featuring plants and botanical art. Many of the pieces spotlight local artists, including Liza Mitchem and her Feral Creature Ceramics brand as part of The Earth Made Market. They also have fun “pause for puzzle” and other brain activity books, plus stationery for cat and dog lovers. There is a lot of little art and paper goods to discover throughout the shop. The plant selection was another highlight for me. They had a great variety of healthy-looking plants, from cacti to many different indoor plants, and I especially appreciated the dedicated section of pet-safe plants. They also have beautiful pots in different colors, terrarium jars in several sizes, compost, fertilizers, and other things you might need to take care of your plants. It felt like a place where you could come in looking for one little plant and easily leave with ideas for an entire project. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, and I really appreciated the care they put into wrapping my plants before placing them in the bag. It was such a small detail, but it showed how much attention they give to the plants and to the customer experience. I was also lucky enough to stop by during a terrarium-building workshop. The instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable about plant care, and the $18 fee included all the materials. It was a really fun, family-friendly activity, and I enjoyed meeting some of the other visitors and locals who joined the workshop. The shop itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a very recognizable personality. I loved the combination of plants, art, colors, and small discoveries throughout the space. I was impressed by the variety and by how thoughtfully everything came together. I hope to come back in the future, both for plants and to see what other workshops they offer.”

“I am obsessed with this shop. They have so many cute things for the house! I’ve been wanting to get some new fall decor and I found it here! Such an insanely adorable selection of items… I could have spent way more than I did! They have a great candle selection. So many amazing scents and different size candles to choose from and I love the simplicity of the jar style. They do have soy wax candles as well! I love supporting local businesses- you can tell they put their heart into this one. I’m telling everyone that I know about it! I’ll be back.”

“Honestly one of the most unique and thoughtful gift shops around Illinois. You walk into a welcoming warm and fragrant shop full Of home decor unlike anything else around. Housewarming gifts, gift ideas, and even clothing. Ive purchased purses, clothes, jewelry, perfume, watercolor pants, and even adorable mushroom themed coffee cups. They lend to the whimsical and uniqueness of what I love in a small business.”
