“A very overdue review, but my experience at Futons-N-More was incredible from beginning to end. Do not underestimate this small store – they have plenty of options available for both futon frames and futon mattresses; not only can you get a wide variety of futon frame designs, you can also choose from a variety of finishes and colors. Greg was perhaps the most helpful and delightful salesperson I have ever dealt with. He knows more about futons than you could possibly imagine. He is also patient and kind, he was willing to explain the ins and outs of each model, and he happily allowed me to take my time exploring every option available. This store will NOT sell you anything you don't need; Greg asked me what my top priority was (price, design, or durability). Although I was willing to pay any price for a futon frame and mattress that will last for years to come, Greg steered me away from a costlier option, instead directing me to a lower-priced option that, in his experience, was even more durable and long-lasting. (And I am glad I followed his expert advice – this futon (the Portofino) is SOLID and I can tell it will be around for a long time!)
When my new futon came in, they called me and asked if I would like them to deliver it and set it up on the same day – which was a pleasant surprise, considering that it was the day before Thanksgiving! They wanted me to have the option of showing off my new furniture for the holiday. They were courteous, cautious, and respectful as they delivered and assembled my futon. They did excellent work, and they were incredibly fast, too!
Futons-N-More has been in business in Chicago for a few decades now (first in Hyde Park, now in Buena Park/Lakeview), and they have loyal, repeat customers. I now know why. Their knowledge, customer service, and inventory are top tier, their prices are fair, their goods are high quality, and they are honest. PLEASE shop local and support small, family-owned businesses like Futons-N-More — it is businesses like these that make our neighborhoods and our city great, and that ensure high-quality products are available to us (much better than anything you could get off the internet or in a warehouse-style store). Shop at Futons-N-More and you will NOT regret it one bit, I promise!

“After much mattress research (too much lol) I found Sleep On Latex. I read through their website and knew right away that I wanted to buy from them because of the quality of their products, the care they take with procuring and producing their mattresses and toppers, and their superb customer service (they answer the phone and are super nice and very knowledgable). So I flew to Chicago and visited their showroom to lay on their mattresses (super helpful). In the end, I decided I wanted to build my own all-latex bed because I wanted different levels of firmness. So I bought 4 toppers from them all with luxury covers (firm, medium soft) and purchased a zippered organic mattress cover from SleepEZ (only because Sleep On Latex doesn’t sell these). When the toppers arrived, I was SO pleased. The quality of the latex and the beautiful, soft and substantial luxury covers just made me very happy, and now I have an amazing bed that is 100% organic and unbelievably comfortable. I experimented with a few configurations with the toppers, ending with firm on the bottom, then soft, then medium on top. They also sell a hybrid bed (latex, hemp and coils), which feels amazing and is made at their warehouse in Chicago. I may try that down the road, but for now, I’m really happy with all-latex. Their shipping was quick and packaging was excellent. For those of you doing a lot of research, you can stop now that you’ve found Sleep on Latex. They are the BEST, hands down. 😊”
