“I've been to this store twice to sell jewelry. On both occasions, from the time I walked in the store, to the time I walked out, absolute professionalism! While going thru the process, the entire staff showed empathy, but also showed excellent customer service. At no point did i feel pressured like you see on those hack TV shows. The staff were helpful but you could tell that the answer they give more than not is, sorry we don't have anything in stock but we can help you order it online. I really like Best Buy and I hope it sticks around. I hope they find some new ways of getting us back in the stores and getting us back to physically checking out technology instead of just trusting your favorite YouTuber.”

“I wasn’t expecting much out of this Target given the area that it is in. I was wrong though. Very nice store, very organized and clean, with overall friendly staff. Only complaint is that I bought two of the exact same item and one had a clearance tag on it and the other did not. The whole section was on clearance. When the cashier rang them up, one ring up at the clearance price, and the other did not. The cashier refused to adjust the price of the one ringing up at full price, because he didn’t see a clearance sticker on it. Common sense should have kicked in here. Whole section was on clearance, exact same item, with the same barcode. Oh well. A supervisor wasn’t quickly available so I paid full price for the one, but it is what it is. Other than that no complaints.”

“I recently submitted an insurance claim and when I received my replacement phone, I needed assistance getting it setup. Danny explained I needed to call customer service myself or I would need to pay a connection fee. The person I was talking to via customer service was extremely confused thinking I was adding a line not transferring my service. “I would give five stars but when I was at the checkout a few days ago, or maybe a week ago the older lady at the counter was so rude. She walked away doing God knows what while I was trying to tell her I had points to use on my card. She ignored me 3 times and said put your card in. I said I have points can you please redeem them for me? She huffed like I was asking her something that isn't her job. I'm sorry lady do your job. I spent money to redeem those points. Ugh. Well that wasn't the only thing. She proceeds to blow her nose as I'm waiting for the receipt to come out and thinks I want her boogery hands touching my stuff! Really?! If the tables were turned, she wouldn't want me to blow my nose and hand her the stuff and receipt! C'mon common sense right now with COVID! Walgreens PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH THIS RUDE WORKER!!!! “This is the 2nd time that Karen goes above and beyond on helping me my wife and my daughter. Karen is very professional , knowledgeable , and able to assist all costumers that come in through that door. She greets all and is able to help all. Karen makes sure costumers don’t walk out the door without being waited on. I did retail quite some years ago and am costumer orientated. And know how important it is to make sure the walk out of the shop happy so they can come back and shop at the same store. You can tell when people really want to help and love their job. This employee Karen goes above and beyond. Keep up the good job.”

“We were looking for a new printer. The store was very busy on Labor Day. Yet David treated us like we were the only people in the store. He took about 20 minutes to walk us through the latest improvements and figure out what was important to us. We ended up buying a top of the line Epson mostly due to his knowledge about each printer. Then he carried the box to the checkout, went and got us a cart and notified security so we were expected at the door. I'd say that is a five star employee.”

“It's a bit of a mess in this Super Target (recovering from Black Friday I guess). I could not find any holiday tablecloths. A Target team member directed me to the area and I later found a few vinyl ones in the Magnolia section but they were too small. The store is pretty quiet now and I found the ginormous candy bars for my white elephant exchange! Lots of candy, feathery friends, so many gingerbread houses (even a Target one - how meta!), and plenty of ornaments, etc.”

“I was in the Vernon Hills area and came here to shop because we had some time to kill before going to the theater. My husband and I needed some grocery items and decided to do some shopping. The front entrance needs some attention. It is not clear where the road ends and the sidewalk begins as there is no curb in front of the Target. I saw someone drive over the sidewalk to get to the side parking lot. Some of those giant red balls that are used stop drivers from driving on the sidewalk are needed here. Fortunately there were no pedestrians in the area and no one was in danger of being harmed.The store is laid out in an organized fashion. I used the target mobile app to find a product I was looking for. The app was able to tell me which aisle it was located in. I went to that aisle and was able to find the product that I was looking for. We picked up the grocery items that we needed and then stopped by the Valentine's Day candy that was on sale and picked up some things that we didn't need. The checkout process went fairly smoothly and was pretty quick. As we left we witnessed some teens running down the front aisle. It appears that they were filming a Tik Tok.I recommend this Target. It was clean and well-stocked.”

Until, they made a mistake installing an ice make that caused thousands of dollars in damages for repairs when it leaked and ruined the floors causing about $15,000 in costs. They only offered a fraction of it to settle the dispute. I now use Grand Appliance. Not as "fancy", but they have the same products, great service and a more understanding staff. They also include typical extra charges like removal of an existing appliance at no cost.”
