“If you want a great section at fair prices, with some flexibility in custom design availability- they will have it. Good quality and fair prices. Plus the employees and owner know furniture very well. They can answer all questions and find what you are looking for. We were happy to select a fabric of our choice to pair with the recliners we were shown to have them manufactured for us. Overall an okay experience. A big negative for me however, was the wait time being longer then promised, paired with the fact I had to call to find this out and to get updates. We paid in full and follow up to update us would have been appreciated as delays are understandable, but communication helps in that case. Also a a bit let down by the full couch foot rest in the recliner lacking padding, or the padding moves when you rest your feet. Cant say for sure what it is, but it's not great to feel hard bars under the ankle and I worry about it getting worse. The matching chair and loveseat don't have that issue and are very comfortable- so not sure what happened there. Last, I thought the reclining chair was rocker and swivel, but alas, 'tis not... but that is my mistake for not confirming this. Ooof. I would still recommend them over other stores and say try them first before anywhere else. Overall the best bet in the area for furniture, far superior to some of the other options.”

“Jeremy helped me out tremendously tonight! I bought a mattress that he thought would fit in my car once I emptied it. He told me to come back and he’d personally put it in my car for me since they don’t deliver the mattress that I purchased. So I went home and emptied my car and came back but unfortunately it didn’t fit. So Jeremy made things right and got me a killer deal on a better mattress and that one fit in my car. Genuinely shocked because I didn’t even ask for him to do that for me. Thanks again Jeremy you have no idea how much I needed your kindness today.”

“I have worked with Abt appliances for years. They have an incredible store and I have been impressed with their service. Until, they made a mistake installing an ice make that caused thousands of dollars in damages for repairs when it leaked and ruined the floors causing about $15,000 in costs. They only offered a fraction of it to settle the dispute. I now use Grand Appliance. Not as "fancy", but they have the same products, great service and a more understanding staff. They also include typical extra charges like removal of an existing appliance at no cost.”

“I want to start off by saying that I called Penny Mustard customer Service about a question on how to get a king size mattress which I had "inherited" up my stairs. The mattress (which was purchased from Penny Mustard by a friend who decided to move out of state) sat in my living room for a month before attempting to hike it up the stairs. I called Penny Mustard to ask if they had any advice and spoke to Donna who not only was friendly and very knowledgeable about mattresses. She took the time to speak to me about "folding the mattress in half" and getting it up the stairs. And she was so right! We got the king size mattress up the stairs like professional movers.Thank you Donna for taking the time and sharing your wisdom in mattress moving and for an excellent customer experience.”

“Staff is amazing, very thorough in the explanations of all the features for every model of sleep beds available. Great customer service and attempts to upsale the more expensive model. We originally purchased the cal king and after re-measuring at ho.e, called the next day to change to order to an Eastern king. I stopped over at the Vernon Hills store to view the models on display for a real life 'try before you buy' test. What's cooler is that online I could schedule a one hour in-store nap at any of the participating Casper locations. During my test I even straddled my hubby to simulate that type of experience... The associate who helped me at the Vernon Hills store was very informative and had a great sense of humor.”
