“I absolutely love LFB. I don't even live in Lake Forest, but my sister does and LFB is her bank so I'm a devoted customer. The personal relationships that they form with their customers is such a refreshing way to do business. Shilpa and Tom are just fantastic - they seem to know everyone who walks in and they have the same professionalism and friendly demeanor with each and every customer, every time. Also, I've been to the drive thru at the other branches when I have my dog in the car with me and they always send a dog treat out for him with my deposit slip. Such a small gesture sets LFB from the other massive banks who have to seek out government assistance because their ridiculous fees aren't enough to keep them afloat. If you are tired of being just another number at your bank and not being able to talk to a human when you call, go see Shilpa or Tom!”
“I have made this my favorite bank now. After being with Bank of America and being affected by the COVID Pandemic i no longer had direct deposit. Jose the teller at this bank went above and beyond my expectations when I was using their coin machine ( BTY no fees being a customer already) I accidentally dropped a sentimental medialian. Jose took the initiative to open it that same day and retreats it for me. Amazing customer service and they know my name every time I come in. I get greeted by my name by Marlene.”

“Ive been banking here for many years. Their personal banking services, and their customer services are absolutely great. Their tellers are always friendly and their personal bankers (especially Catherine and Denise) are super helpful. Their online bill pay works well for both business and consumer banking and allows transfers, etc. They always have good coffee and snacks/treats for the kids and in general it is a pleasure to stop by the bank. I've never tried to borrow money from Wintrust.”
“I have been doing business with Huntington Bank in Waukegan for four years. The people who work there are such a pleasure to deal with. They are always polite, personable and professional, which is why I choose to go into the bank rather than use the drive through or the ATM. The longest I have ever waited to see a teller was five minutes at most and it is typically less than two.”

I would highly recommend this location. I drove 20 min to this branch due to the reviews . Everyone on staff is very knowledgeable of their products and services. I had a terrible experience at the location at Foster and Harlem so I decided to drive to this location due to the reviews. They did not disappoint. They were very customer centric.”

After many prompts via the automated answer service, I eventually got a message saying they were busy and to call another time. Dismayed, I started to write this review. Then, the branch called me saying they missed my call and could they assist me… nice work Chase. Thanks for answering my call and letting me know if you had a notary on-site (they don’t). You saved me a trip on a frigid winter day and recommended branches that do offer this service.”

“My Wife and I got a Home Equity Line of Credit through First American Bank. I cannot believe we waited this long to do this. We were paying around 20% for all our cards and FAB offered us 8% ish for all our cards. They saved us so much money! Sherl from the Gurnee Location was incredible! She was so Friendly, patient and knowledgeable and got us through this so quickly and easily. We would highly recommend FAB and Sherl for anybody that wants a Home Equity Line of Credit”
