“Arrived last minute with only minutes before closing, which I don't like doing to store staff. Needed balloons for my daughter's birthday. Staff was friendly and courteous even though they were closing. Even refilled helium in some of the balloons. Customer service that I appreciate. Thank you. Sorry I was not able to get names of the staff members, but great job to the crew.”

“Omg.. I’ll never forget this kind lady associate manager who helped take care of me today. I usually buy my dishes, bowls and coffee mugs at IKEA. But I was just browsing around in the store. And found and I bought some beautiful floral design dishes with matching coffee mugs and matching placemats. This is my treat for my Mother’s Day. So when I have my friends or family over at my place. They will be surprised at the beautiful table setting with beautiful dishes, coffee mugs and matching placemats.
Thank you to dear nice lady night manager Hope. I love this store because of its beautiful kinds of things you can buy. And I am handicap I walk with a cane now since my stroke because I have lupus vasculitis. I had angioplasty surgery I have right vertebral stent & I have numbness on my right side body now.
It’s hard for me to go shopping. But it’s people like dear kind Hope that make a difference in life. Thank you so much Hope for helping me today. That was so nice of you.

“They finally updated their location about a year ago. This used to be one of my favorite DTs before the pandemic, but they started "Falling Off" years before the pandemic. The location started to feel "Low Budget" meaning, they barely had anything and the stock was always low. I actually stopped going to this one. But they are now back on track and the stock is always healthy.”

“I went to the dollar store this time at the Lombard location. I think this store is much bigger compared to the other dollar tree stores. Well I went and I found some bowls to match with the white & blue flower design plates, coffee mugs & placemats that I bought yesterday evening. At another dollar tree I went yesterday. There was this nice lady associate that helped me & took care of me earlier in the afternoon today. Her name was Genie. Thank you to her for being so kind & helpful. It was good that this nice lady associate helped me because I’m handicap now. I’m glad I bought some newspaper & thanks for helping wrap my beautiful bowls that I bought. I also bought some bouquet of balloons for Mother’s Day for my Mom & also a bouquet of balloons for my daughter too. They really have nice stuff to buy at this store. Good quality & good prices. God bless. I give Genie & this dollar tree store 5 stars.”
“The other day it was so busy and there was only one cashier named Diane. The line went all the way back to the fridge. Customers were very nasty and rude with her. She was very friendly and has great customer service given how other customers were treating her. They definitely need more assistance but there was no one else there.”

“Great little place. Mexican store with tons of little things used for ceremonial pieces and all sorts of stuff you would find on 26th street. We actually were looking for a knock-off of a San Marcos blanket (those super warm Mexican blankets). And found plenty here. Reminds me of growing up and walking the small markets on 26th street. Great people inside who were super friendly.”

“A ton of stuff, overflowing in some sections. Went in to get a paper tape measure, finally finding it with a lot of help from really nice staff. The price is $1.25 for unmarked items, with some marked items going up to $5.”

Today good variety of Christmas ornaments was there. I filled my card with Christmas Good variety of Christmas cards too. Beautiful vases, mixing bowls, dinnerware, picture frames available. “There was this one old lady Victoria was her name gave us the dollar tree lotto ticket she was such a sweet heart and helped us save a dollar on party goods and gave us a bandage to from her pocket just overall she was the best and I hope she gets a raise!!!”

“Well, first let me say..that some of the customers are total slobs, ingurant and rude. You people that right bad things about this store have nothing better to do but complain ..don't come there then I'm sure they don't want your business. . May be the store wouldn't have to put notes around the store if people weren't SLOBS and put things back where they belong. The store is a mess because the customers don't want to pick up after themselves, or put things back on the hooks where the found them, instead just place it on the nearest shelf because they are to lazy to put it back and it's to their convince not thinking of the employee's that have to clean up after you. People let their kids trash the store, and the parents do not care the dt is a daycare for their kids. So don't shop there if it isn't up to your standard. Don't blame the store employee's.. blame yourself. Here's a thought.. go in fill out an application and show them how you can make it better instead of you running your mouths.”

“I stopped there the other day to get a phone mount for in the car. The first one I bought did not work right?
So when I went back in the manager was so awesome judy. She even came outside to try and help me with the second one that I bought. I have never had an employee, let alone A. Manager at a dollar general come out and try and assist me with a product that I bought.”
