“I found Around Town Glass & Mirror in April 2025. I needed my glass shower door acrylic strip replaced - it had become cracked and difficult to clean. Not only did they replace, they showed me how to clean and what to clean with to not damage. In addition, they adjusted the door so it would swing closed. Cost $60.00.
I thought that was a fair cost.
As they were leaving, I inquired if they replaced glass in mirrors.
I handed over a full length antique morror encased in wood that belonged to my Great Grandmother. I requested a beveled mirror. That took about 4 weeks and was a little under $300.00 (what I expected). Both jobs were executed beautifully and professionally.”
“When my brother's trailer broke down near the Indiana border, the only store within 2 hours that was still open until 9pm was this Tractor Supply. He called an associate at the store and they found the leaf spring he needed. They were willing to stay a little after closing time if needed so we could make the long trip there to pick it up. We cannot express enough our appreciation for this store's associate for going the extra mile for us during an emergency!”
“I’ve been here several times for various home improvement items, garden tools or plants, and even cleaning products (better prices than Amazon!) and this last time I was really impressed by how helpful Scott was in lumber. He helped me find exactly what I needed, even found an alternative option for a 2 x 2 I needed in cedar, and made the cuts for me perfectly. I really appreciated it and my potato box I’m making is coming along nicely. Thanks again!”
“Great service, helpful and knowledgeable people, competitive prices. A great “go to” when you need to get projects done. What you need is in stock and immediately available. The staff knows the projects in their department and will help when a project crosses over multiple departments. They also know the latest products available and can inform and demonstrate them. Way better than your father’s hardware store. The team at the Palatine store is outstanding.”

“We bought a table here. They disassembled it for me so that it could get into the car. The staff is very friendly, they told me everything and answered all my questions (taking into account that I am not very fluent in English). I liked the furniture, but it is constantly changing there.”
“John and Tony, who drive the forklift in the yard, were very helpful to me. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. I needed a total of 34 bags of river rock loaded into my car, which I could never have done on my own. Very grateful they were there and so willing to help. Please add Luke to the list of good guys who know what they’re doing and provide great help when you need it.”

“The Home Depot in Bloomingdale is far better than the Home Depot in Carol Stream.
Staff is friendly and helpful. The management appears to truly care about their team. I've personally witnessed two moral building activities by management at this location. Happy employees leads to positive customer experience.
The store is always clean and I can find people to help me when I have a question.
When I use the curbside pick up the employees always great me warmly, some even engage in friendly conversation. I have called management on two occasions to express how positive my experience their store has been. Once the manager said he was going to buy lunch for the employee I spoke of.
Other Home Depot locations are closer to me, but I go to Bloomingdale Home Depot for the customer service.”

being here forever. brian directed us and was very polite. pete showed us around the store and brought us to everything we needed. he saw us struggling and asked if we needed help and we really appreciated that. “Barry and Mitch were very helpful and answered all of my questions so I could get the lights that were appropriate. However I didn't get (honestly I didn't think to ask) a hard copy of the protection plan I paid for. It took me more than 35 min to get any info via phone and then it was wrong. I did call the store and the nice person told me where I could get it online. Seems I'm not in the system so i will have to fight that battle another day.”
