“This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. I have not worn scrubs in years, my job allows a business casual attire but im tired of trying to figure out what to wear everyday. Lol. I got several pairs of high qualify scrub bottoms for an amazing price! The staff lady was very professional and helpful! They also embroider. I cant wait to go back for that. Thanks so much! ❤️”
“This is seriously the best place to get steel toed boots. My husband has used them for years. The last pair he bought were hurting his feet bad even though they were his normal brand/size/style. After a month of trying to figure it out he went inside and they traded his boots for a different pair that was the same size/style/brand. The strange pain went away.
I have also walked in a few times to pick up his repairs. Yes, they do repairs! They never made me wait more than 5 minutes.”

“I called the Evergreen Park store and talked with Moniece before going there. She was great on the phone, and even better in person. She anticipated my needs and, even better, had all items I needed in stock (unlike other stores). She provided advice and listened to what I had to say. I've been to other DXL locations, and while they were good, Moniece was great.”

She meticulously showed me at least 12 pairs of shoes and even took the time to measure my feet and observe my walking style, ensuring the pair I selected had the right type of arch support.
The personalized service truly stood out. Beverly’s attention to detail made the entire process feel tailored to my needs, and I appreciated how her expertise helped me confidently make a final selection. While my experience was excellent overall, the review reflects a 4-star rating simply because there’s always room for a little extra refinement—perhaps a few more style options or a slightly faster process might make the visit even more exceptional.

“Ive been shopping at Jmd sox outlet for over 40 years the original store on Harlem. I went back to get my son work sox for Christmas. I was not disappointed. Not only did I find great deals on sox, he got some nice Carhart gear too! The staff were great & helped me find what I was looking for. Quick check out, & they let me know how long I have to take them back for a refund. Ill be shopping here for the next 40 years !”

“Went there to find shoes for a party. I was very shocked to see the sales associate was in the store all alone by herself. I went on a very cold wet Sunday afternoon in December. She was extremely professional the entire time. Helpful with getting me the right size. I bought 2 pair of shoes. Great place to find shoes from casual to dressy.”

“I was in this store about two weeks ago and promised I will write a review for my GREAT customer service I’ve received. A bit late but here I am.
I was looking for a comfortable shoes and I was approached by Deidre (forgive me if the name is misspelled) and she said I can call her just ‘D’.
I’ve tried at least 10 pair of shoes where finally got the right one. It was not hard for her to go back and forth and to bring me the shoes I was requesting.
Since they had only one pair of the style I needed she offered to check another store so I could go there and get the deal BOGO 50% off. And she did find another pair.
Getting ready to pay behind the register there was two other associates, Aaron who offered me additional 10% off and did ring my shoes and Chris who offered me a popcorn.
This young associates were wonderful.
If you would like to be treated fair with lots of respect I highly suggest this store.

“I came to my local mall to walk around and browse the new spring clothes and I couldn’t help but notice the Journeys store. I was helped by a lovely young lady who seemed to be one of the managers, I believe her name was Jelisa. While I was trying on some new balances the manager with blonde hair complimented my choice and offered me $10 off with rewards, I believe her name was Amy. They also showed me a really good cleaner for my suede shoes that I ended up purchasing. 10/10 experience at this location, the customer service from everyone was amazing. I will be shopping here for me and my family moving forward.”
“Went into the Chicago Ridge location for a pair of Steel Toe shoes as well as socks and was not disappointed upon checkout Gabe saved me money I didn't expect to save the shoes were already a great price but Gabe broke down to me that if I purchased another pack of socks that I could save more money to sum it I spent less money buying 2 pks of socks and the Steel Toes instead of 1 pack and the Steel Toes great customer service from Gabe no complaints”
