“I absolutely love LFB. I don't even live in Lake Forest, but my sister does and LFB is her bank so I'm a devoted customer. The personal relationships that they form with their customers is such a refreshing way to do business. Shilpa and Tom are just fantastic - they seem to know everyone who walks in and they have the same professionalism and friendly demeanor with each and every customer, every time. Also, I've been to the drive thru at the other branches when I have my dog in the car with me and they always send a dog treat out for him with my deposit slip. Such a small gesture sets LFB from the other massive banks who have to seek out government assistance because their ridiculous fees aren't enough to keep them afloat. If you are tired of being just another number at your bank and not being able to talk to a human when you call, go see Shilpa or Tom!”

“Great customer service! I was greeted right away. I didn't look very presentable since it was hot and I was coming from a salon appointment, but the staff still treated me with respect. I would highly recommend this location. I drove 20 min to this branch due to the reviews . Everyone on staff is very knowledgeable of their products and services. I had a terrible experience at the location at Foster and Harlem so I decided to drive to this location due to the reviews. They did not disappoint. They were very customer centric.”

“This is a small community bank, the northbrook location seems more tailored for the private banking arm, but they do take all customers. This bank may not be as technologically advanced as big guys, but it's a real community bank, with actual people working there, I know my banker, and get services not possible at big banks, although at times they may be a little slower. Seems like they are most focused on retail and commercial banking services, not sure they are desperate to make loans like some places, so I would elsewhere for anything than home equity lines. Overall nice to have a small old fashioned bank, in a day where it seems like most other branches dont even have personal bankers, even if their app are behind the curve of the bigger banks.”
