“I have been a loyal Sam’s Club Member since Sam’s opened its first club in the Chicago Market! I have been completely satisfied with shopping at Sam’s, particularly when I am not with my wife! My wife shops like a hunter! I shop like an “EXPLORER!” I enjoy the experience of taking my time and taking to my fellow Sam’s Card Carrying Shoppers! Yesterday shopping for my wife without my Membership Card, I went to the Membership Services Counter for a temporary pass! I got much more than I could have ever asked for! Mary was at the counter and greeted me with a stately smile! I have to call her “Saint Mary” because the Spirit of God, illuminated her beautiful stature and divinely appointed “Gift of Hospitality!” Sam’s Club naturally possessed the Gift of Mary, right out of Scripture! She was more than professional, Knowledgeable and a pure joy to be of service! She was dressed like a Wall Street Executive and her beautiful sky blue business suit matched her beautiful blue, German, Irish eyes! We joyfully shared mutual thoughts and observations! Sam Walton’s Legacy lives on through “Saint Mary” at Sam’s Club Number 6384 in Hodgkins, Illinois! Mary Sealed the Deal With a Hug! Mary made a loyal customer for life! The value of my Membership at Sam’s Club exceeded the value of “Rodeo Drive” and Chicago Gold Coast” Retailers! You cannot put a price on “Mary’s Personal Touch”! Mary is second to none! On my way out of the Warehouse I spoke to Adrian the Club’s General Manager and had to commend him on his exceptional leadership and management skills! I told him that no ordinary manager could manage a star like “Saint Mary of Hodgkins”! I have 53 years experience at Military Leadership and 47 years experience a Retail Management! I know talent when I see it! If you want to see Five Star Talent First Hand, go and visit Adrian, Saint Mary, and their Associates at Sam’s Club in Hodgkins! You’ll be glad you did! Thank you Mary for a Job Well Done! ~LCIII Hinsdale, Illinois VADM Retired U.S. Navy”

“I took my Chevy Tahoe to get it serviced here and I am very pleased! This is the best auto repair shop ever! They honestly tell you what’s wrong with your vehicle and what repairs it really needs done. They text you pictures and videos of your vehicle parts to show what was wrong with your car and how they fixed it. I’ve been to a lot of mechanics and auto repair shops and this one beats them All!! I’ll never go anywhere else to get my vehicles serviced. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are super professional! Mechanic Eduardo is the coolest guy with excellent customer service.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Nagels auto service. From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of and respected. Dan is honest, trustworthy, and truly cares about his customers—not like the dealerships that try to overcharge for everything. He took the time to explain what was needed and never pressured me into anything unnecessary. I was so impressed with the service on my car that we brought my mom’s car in next, and then my dad’s. Every time, the experience was smooth, affordable, and reliable. It’s rare to find someone in this business you can genuinely trust, and I’ll never go anywhere else. Could not recommend going to Nagels more to anyone looking for honest, quality auto care!”

“I always feel pressured to buy the high priced oil or change an air filter, but loved the attention to detail to clean some leaves out from under the hood. Quick turnaround too”

“A coworker mentioned the tamales at this gas station were really good, had to try it myself. And really happy I did, he was absolutely right. I would definitely return.”

“These are rough times with rising gas costs - Costco gas is the cheapest around that I have found thus far...sometimes there are long lines other times you hit it just right!! The assistants working out there are always very helpful and say hello. I value my Costco and the staff very much!!! Thank you all!!!”

“This is my neighborhood gas station the owner is very friendly and makes a point to remember his customers. Extremely great customer service and always clean. When I walk in feel like I’m seeing an old friend. The owner goes out of his way to accommodate me for certain items. With so much negativity in the world it’s refreshing to be greeted with a smile and a genuine how are you and the family”

“If you’re looking For a quick oil change, this is definitely the spot. They offer beverages, snacks and the place is clean. Don’t forget to go online for your coupon if you have synthetic oil. Definitely recommend this place.”

“One of the few places in the city I feel safe getting gas. Security is always around and watchful so while I'm still alert I do take the trip to get gas here because of how safe I feel.”

“As an Uber driver, weekends are my prime earning days. Whenever my car broke down on a Friday or Saturday over the years, the mechanics here saved the day with their lightning-fast service. A heartfelt thank you to the team for always rescuing my livelihood!”
7300 S Cicero Ave, Chicago IL 60629
“Great shopping experience. However, they need to watch there prices or at least survey before raising prices. Its Disheartening to come all the way to Costco for gas only to find out you could have gotten gas SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper at your corner gas station. ALSO, At the BEDFORD PARK location they need to post the gas prices for shoppers. Or at least also post them at the pumps. Ideally both areas. One shouldn't have wait in long lines or attempt to drive between cars then get back in line (if the price is ok) JUST to see the gas price!!!!”
6801 North Avenue, Oak Park IL 60302
“Got a flat tire unexpectedly near my home and brought it in for repair. They inspected the puncture and confirmed it could be safely patched instead of replacing the tire. The repair was done in under 40 minutes. I liked that they also checked air pressure in all tires without charging extra. Simple service but handled efficiently. Waiting space isn’t very large, but for a quick job like this it didn’t matter much.”

“The Costco gas station is the only place I stop for gas. The lines can often be intimidating but honestly they move a lot faster than one would think. Even the longest lines only take no more than 10 minutes to get through. They do not accept cash, but they have the cheapest gas in town by far!”
4957 S Central Ave, Chicago IL 60638
“I stop here daily. Everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help. Its nice to be able to stop ,shop and say hello and never have an issue. As long as I live in this area thats where ill be getting my gas ,car washed and snacks for sure. The people working at Dunkin donuts also very nice and willing. Thanks for all the work! ~Mr.Razzle”

“Cheapest gas in the area the past several weeks. 20 cents cheaper than the gas station across the street and if you pay with cash , you'll saveEben more money. I saved an extra 10 cents per gallon my last visit.”

“If you want a local mechanic who will help in a pinch and who is consistently there for you then this is your guy. Several times he has charged me nothing to look at a light or hook up a monitor for a quick analysis. Yes you will need an appointment to do anything major. No they are not cheap but they do stand behind their work.”

“After trial and error with other chemical companies, I came to Knight Enterprises after a referral from a long time partner of mine. Austin came to our facility and immediately started customizing a solution to fit our specific set up. We’ve been buying from Knight enterprises for 3 years now and will never try anyone else!”

“There is usually a long line for the best and lowest price on gasoline, so it's best to arrive early or late. While I am a loyal Costco member, my Sam's Club membership is paying for itself with the savings I get at the pump. I love the convenience of their Scan & Go app which I use both at the pump and to avoid long check-out lines in the store. After shopping around, I also saved a couple hundred bucks buying 4 new Goodyear tires at their Tire Center. They lured me in with a low-priced membership, a free chicken and cupcakes. It worked.”
3800 S Cicero Ave, Cicero IL 60804
“Good management, I have never had any problems with any of the staff great public bathrooms, dinning area, they're not to picky about the people using the microwave. Overall I would highly recommend this place. It's clean and presentable. ?”

“Cheapest gas station. This guy was the only one to offer low prices a few yrs ago when other gas stations made the client take the hit, this guy took the hit himself.. friendly and polite staff also.. well worth a visit if your in need of gas..”

“There are 3 other reviews that for some reason aren't recommended but I will tel you this: the owners are the friendliest, kindest, and hardworking men. They really show Midlothian what hospitality is. I remember going in when they just bought the place and to see how much work they've put into it and how good the gas station is now is heartwarming. I wish the real reviews could take the place of the one that's 3 years old when it was under old management.”

“This is the only gas station I go to, no problems for me. Until Friday 4-24-16...filled up my tank, and someone tried to charge my card for $125 after my original transaction, my bank flagged it as fraud and it didn't go through, so I will not longer be paying at the pump...PERIOD!!!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
