“Massive shout out to the folks at Fair Game. I stopped in on a visit from out of town and ended up having a wonderful, appropriately nerdy conversation with the two fellows working there at the time. Based on their recommendation, I bought the Arkham Horror card game and had it shipped back home. To be honest, I was skeptical of this game because I did not enjoy other Arkham Horror games, but I bought it anyway because I wanted to support the store. It turned out to be one of our favorite games.
It is such a pleasure to get to talk to people who know games and can make thoughtful recommendations based on a single conversation. If I lived in the state, this would be my go-to game store. If you live near La Grange, stop in, have a conversation, buy a game, and maybe go back for game night. You will be happy you did!”
“My niece is moving into a new home and she said she wanted to make it sort of country setting for her kitchen she wanted to do sports for her son and maybe a man cave for her husband and a girly room for her daughter. so I send her quite a few pictures of what Hobby Lobby carries and she was very happy . She's actually in Virginia now I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby over there but she will be be coming in a couple of weeks to visit and she's probably going to be taking a whole lot back with her”
“Was very busy and hard to get help but after being there an hour with my kids I finally got help and was able to Purchase the slotcar I wanted/needed to race with my friend I'll definitely be back. They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.”
“I have been wanting to visit one of the Goat stores for some time now. They have a good selection of games, it's just hard to find something I want when I already have over 300 games but the store attendant was very patient with me as I vacillated whether to buy anything or not. I didn't ask her name, unfortunately, and had several conversations with her in the meantime. She's a good salesperson, though, she convinced me to buy Marvel Zombies which I never really wanted in my collection but hearing her description made me change my mind...and besides, I had to buy something for fear of her thinking I was some sort of creep loitering around. ?”

“Excellent selection of beer and wine making equipment and supplies. Kyle is very knowledgeable and helpful with getting started, as well as advice on modifying recipes. Have yet to attend one of their brewing events, but the home brewer's day event was very fun and filled with welcoming people.
My go-to place for brewing supplies. Plenty of parking and just off St. Charles Rd makes it easy to get to as well.”

And if you are selling (far too common these days) you can rest assured their mid-western values and character will guide you painlessly.Whether you are perusing their extensive catalogue for elusive items for your collection, or selling dad's (or grandpa's) cherished stamp albums I cannot recommend them highly enough. PS-why don't you keep one of your father's albums for yourself? I think the kids would love pouring over it!”
“This place is really great! Highly recommended! Especially to those people who really love stuff for crafts. This place is the best! They have so many interesting things here, their selection is very large, and the whole place is really enjoyable. This spot is very clean, cozy, neat, organized, and bright. Everything here is great! Fantastic customer service! Their employees here are really nice, decent, and knowledgeable. They all know how to treat their customers so right. Also, they will help you to find the things you need. They are so accommodating. You can also check out so easily because they have many cashiers. Awesome service. This Michaels is very accessible, their location is very near and easy to find. You can go to their spot in just a few minutes from your area. Very convenient. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because their restrooms need some repair. But their place is still my preferred place to buy things for crafts and others. They are way better and cheaper than other stores around the place. Plus, this Michaels is also a great place to buy some decorations for Christmas and other special holidays. You can also order online and visit their website. They will bring your order to you quickly. Really wonderful spot! All of their items have really good quality. A really must-visit place for arts and crafts. I will definitely go back here again when I am nearby and I need some crafts again. Thank you for your awesome service guys! “I want to give a huge shout out to this amazingly kind little store. I was searching for a very specific item & one of their employees was kind enough to tell me the day their trucks came in & told me I could call & check. For two months I called and spoke with Alejandra and not only were they patient with me, they were kind enough to actually look. (I had called other local stores where I live and those employees were horrible to me.) I’m happy to say after my perseverance I got my ghost, and the staff was helpful, most importantly KIND after my two-hour round trip to get there. They really went above & beyond and I can’t thank them enough.”
“Joe, the owner of LC&S is a very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Have made several small but important coin purchases there over the past 6 or 7 years. Recently Joe helped me with the sale of some Sterling Silver Flatware. He explained the process involved in determining the flatware's value and suggested that I visit several shops to get quotes and then to take the best one. When all was said and done Joe was able to make a more than fair offer and I sold to him. I always have trusted him and feel comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. “An employee named Jeffrey helped me out ENORMOUSLY. I had a horrible experience with the GameStop at Riverside mall where they essentially refused to refund an insurance they pushed me to buy for my switch 2 (which I did not want). Jeffrey at Hodgkins helped me out quickly and easily and did not guilt trip me for canceling my insurance I was forced to pre-order a month ago. Actually an incredible guy, will only be going to this GameStop going forward. ?? Jeffrey needs a raise and recognition, actually the goat of GameStop. Thanks to him I will be coming in much more often.”
