“Walmart can be impossible to complete with and wipes out many small rural downtowns but no one will beat out this store owner. He really goes the extra mile and will do whatever it takes. He'll survive and adapt and surpass the conglomerates in any area he goes into with excellence.”
“Fast place to go to,don't have to walk all over the place like Wal mart to get what you need.They have very good produce section,alot of different dairy products, and their own seasonal foods and non food items. The checkouts are alway friendly .”

“Usually has good chewy pellet ice for fountain drinks but this time they had cube ice. We were told it was temporary because the machine was broken. Fountain drink area is small and cramped but has good selection. The fountain has "flavor shots" to add to your drink for free. They have a frozen drink machine with Ski. Derby lemonade, sweet tea, unsweetened tea, and sweetened raspberry tea is made there. Some coffee drinks are available. Large selection of snacks and bottled drinks available. They sell beer. I saw Bud, Miller, Goose Island, Coors, and a variety of other brands. There is a usually-sparse roller grill and donuts. They have nachos and cheese. Cashiers are friendly. Edit November, 2017: A clerk at this store informed me their Derby Lemonade is seasonal and will be back at a future date. They still have sweetened, unsweetened, and sweetened raspberry iced Derby tea.”
“Was checking to see if they still had glass 1/2 gallon bottle/ jug of chocolate milk that I use to buy there , they no longer sell them , I was disappointed ? about that , but it is a very nice & friendly store ?”
“I've been coming here since I was a little girl. We used to come in bare feet, and all dirty from playing outside all day. They used to pull out that big pickle jar and let us pick which one we wanted. Then we would fill up those little paper bags with as many penny candies as we could. I will always support this hometown market.”
“Omg. What a difference a good manager makes. Went in the store today and was greeted kindly and the store was immaculate. Unlike a lot of dollar generals, you can move freely around without carts every where. We'll worth the drive and a thousand times better than Walmart. The new manager John was very friendly and very helpful.”
“Always fast and courteous. Although they have two public restrooms that never seem to be in working order. Prices are average my only other complaint would be that there are alot of things that are not clearly priced.”

“Great shopping where all the staff is friendly and helpful. I do not support Walmart because of the way they treat you. TRY GETTING ANYONE TO HELP YOU AT WALMART. The Dollar General has fair prices and great coupons and a nice safe clean environment to do my grocery shopping. ?”
